Wondering why the pizza crust is so thin especially for a $30 pizza. The service was fine, but nothing special and unfortunately it was in a terrible location. best to stay away from this place because it's a waste of money.

This place is straight fire. Prompt service and the best pizza in santa cruz county. Don't even get me started about the cheesy bread sticks. Oh my gosh. You owe it to yourself to order them! Now go, get it!

$40 for a large pepperoni delivered (included driver tip) the crust was super chewy and extremely thin. Had an odd smell to it too. They say they had “New York style” pizza but it was nothing close. The pizza from Costco taste better than this place. You’d think if your going to try to tout your business as a superb pizza joint you’d put out nothing but quality pizzas. If the owner sees this do yourself a solid and order a pizza delivered to yourself anonymously and see if you’d order again because I sure won’t be. Good luck.

The pizza is pretty good but nothing special. The place that was in the location before, Pizza Amore, was way better. The wine bar is a nice touch and they did clean the place up before taking over.

The best pizza, calzone, and stromboli! Oh yeah, they do a great Greek salad, too!

I made the expensive mistake of ordering two calzones that just left me searching for answers. Literally only enough food to fill a small pizza box for $34 (before tip). My combination calzone spilled its innards with no cheese holding it together....just some cheap chopped toppings with two pieces of pepperoni. Both calzones lacked cheese or meat and seemed puffed up with air. What a complete ripoff!!!PS. What's up with the dark room and no customers?

OK Mangiamo, here it goes. First time I tried their Pizza I didn’t care for it and I think it was because it doesn’t fit neatly into a traditional pizza bucket. It’s not New York style, too thick. It’s definitely not Neapolitan, too much sauce and everything else. Not Greek, crust is more pie crust like than the heavy Greek doughy crust. It’s not Chicago as the toppings are on top. Mangiamo does something all their own. It has a crust like a Chicago, spicy sauce like nobody, and thickness level that seems just right. The combo sans olives is my go to. They still have their own delivery which I love. I swear one night I had a pizza in my hand 20 minutes after I called it in, piping hot and delicious. It’s also nice to see local kids getting these delivery jobs. Enjoy!

This is a really cool little pizza joint. The service is great. I usually get a calzone because they are amazing. The only thing that could be significantly better is the Canadian bacon. One thing that must be noted: They have the greatest pizza sauce in the history of planet earth. The pizza sauce is life changing greatness. It's like the Mona Lisa.

I'm a fan of New Haven style pizza so I seek out tasty thin crunchy crust. Based on other reviews I thought I'd try Mangiamo. I ordered pick up. The restaurant smelled good when I walked in- very important. I got one chicken Parmesan and one margarita. The chk parm was pretty good. The margarita was a bit bland with too much sauce and not enough buffalo mozzarella cheese and basil. In both cases the crust was a bit too thin and crunchy. It was more like a cracker with not enough flavor and no chewiness. Between the cracker-crust and the modest size I was underwhelmed, especially for the hefty price of $70 for two large pies. But good pizza is tough to find so I'd probably get the chk parm again.

Among the worst pizza I've ever eaten...well, I actually didn't eat much of it because it was so bad. Not moldy-rotten-hair-sticking-out bad, just ordinary bad. As if it was made by a Martian who'd never actually tasted pizza, but learned how to make it from a description...so let me try: maztoh crust with ketchup sauce topped with white cheese whiz. Yecchh!
