This place looked like a spot to stop by for some bbq but man was it disappointing! First off the waitress was to preoccupied with her locals and was not attentive to us. The food had no flavor at least my pulled pork sandwich didn't have flavor and the meat was not shredded very well. There were big chunks so it made it hard to eat. I think it's just a local spot for the locals lol

Yeah, this BBQ isn't good. Seems like a super fun local's bar/hangout though, very nice people working here! BBQ-wise, not good. Tried all of it. The ribs were overcooked and awful, not edible, the pulled pork was ok, but needed more salt, the brisket was good...I give them that. They need to use salt, period. The BBQ sauce was basic and not used in preparation, it's smoked meat with nothing on it, which would be good, but the smoke isn't forward enough to carry it. Cole slaw was VG, kudos on that. The cornbread was decent. Lived in the south and TX, I know BBQ.

Owner complaining about government aid after taking $80,000 in handouts him/herself...pure hypocrisy

How does one actually get to place an order over the phone with Sid's? We have tried twice to place an order for pickup. After about 15 tries one time and 30 tries another time, we gave up. Each call is answered by a recorded message saying to try again if you want to place an order. We have never gotten through to a human.

The food here is pretty good if you like barbecue. The French Dip was pretty good. The meat was decent but was a little fatty. Their barbecue sauces makes up the flavor though. The Mushroom and Swiss burger was also pretty good. It had a good flavor but the Brioche bun was very thick and overwhelmed the burger just a little bit. Overall the restaurant is pretty good and worth a try if you're hungry for barbecue.

This review is for management or the owner or whoever posted this sign. This is not ok. If you don't want to pay decent wages that's your business but don't blame it on the government. Did you return the 'government handout' you received from the Payroll Protection Program?

A dive. Extremely worn bar stools.I went there to watch Sunday football. Bartender/ waitress started out nice. Limited selection of beer. I ordered a burger medium rare. It was so overcooked I could have used for a hockey puck. Luckily there was plenty of spicy BBQ sauce. When the lady finally came to clear my plate, she asked about my meal. When I indicated it was overcooked, she suggested that I should have told her sooner.I waited fifteen minutes for her to pick up my credit card and she didn't even thank me.Obviously, won't go back.

I came here once on a cross country trip. Overall just meh. Overpriced for the portion. And , really, no better than something I can grill at home. You'd think a smokehouse has a quality top chef but the staff just seamed miserable. Meh. Just meh.

The food was very good. I wish the outdoor dining area had umbrellas for shade.

Consistently poor quality. It's so close to my house, I really want to find something decent on the menu, but it always tastes like it's been sitting around for a week. Maybe I'm ordering on the wrong days. It's greasy and flavorless.

Great workers, mediocre food, poor management. Other please close by are much better and cheaper. Avoid at all cost.

Bleh. Pretty basic. Apparently they don't pay their employees more than unemployment. They had a sign saying so much. Telling customers no one wants to work for you is not the flex you think it is.

I was craving BBQ and found Sid's Smokehouse. The food settled my craving. The service was excellent and covid precautions were in place. I would return next time I'm in the area.

It’s definitely the staff that makes a business. Great service, Brooke
