This place, Los Pericos, there's a few that make a quality burrito, and I always prefer carnitas. I ordered the biggest one, the Deluxe burrito (guac, sour cream, cheese, etc,). When I got home I slapped it on my kitchen scale - I kid you not, 1.5 lbs! It was $13, but it's a great, monster-sized burrito, worth every penny.
This is a nice little taqueria. We stopped here for a late breakfast after hiking in the Forest of Nisene. We were pretty hungry, and this place didn't disappoint. We got breakfast burritos, which were decent-sized and had a good amount of protein, eggs, and papas. The place was clean, and food was served really quickly, which is always great.

I'd give Los Gordos 3 1/2 stars! Food: I can only comment on the burritos and salsa, and they were both delicious! Portion for the Jumbo Burrito was huge, like a small baby! Haha. It was worth the extra buck to get guacamole and sour cream and a few cents extra for lettuce. It was so big, I saved some for another meal. I also like that you get a basket of chips (a wimpy portion, but you can ask for a refill if you're there with more than 1 person), and there is a small salsa bar....read full review
