The service was superb. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food came quickly and everything was delicious. The Hideout Burger my husband ordered was delicious and cooked perfectly. The extra side salad we ordered with it was fresh and large enough for my husband to share plenty with me. The server brought me a plate for sharing without me even asking. I ordered the swordfish special. The fish was buttery and flavorful. The risotto was equally delicious. And the veggies that came with it were fresh and the presentation was lovely. Portions were very large. We observed the staff quickly cleaning tables and sweeping up underneath the tables. Everything looked in order at all times. The outdoor seating was nicely spaced and the heaters made the outdoor seating very comfortable. We enjoyed everything about our experience. We will return.

Amazing food and cocktails! I had the Reuben and it was delicious!!!!! Great place to meet with friends. We sat outside. It was chilly but the heaters were more than adequate.

Valencia Veggie burger isn't like your typical veggie patty, since it has pieces of corn in it. Pairing it with the chipotle aioli gave it a 7/10. The chicken burger was 7/10; the chicken was well seasoned but could have had more spice. Thai sweet chili wings and buffalo are great apps. Overall the large (reasonably priced) drinks and multiple sports TV's make this place a great dinner spot. The service was great because we were attended quickly.

We had the most delicious meal with the cutest waiter. The poke appetizer was delish, but nothing could tip the wedge salad with the most epic slice of bacon across the top. Loved my short rib slider special as well. Also found my new favorite IPA, Sandals and Socks. We will be back!

The food is good. Nuff said. Drinks are complimentary to the food. You'll be happy you went.

Have been coming here recently quite a lot. Has swiftly become my new favorite place in town! Very consistent and their menu doesn’t disappoint. Danny and the staff here are always so friendly and genuine. Cannot recommend this place enough!

A great location. Tucked back against a wonderful grove of trees it was lovely. Parking is tough. Great atmosphere in the restaurant. We sat by the fire in a packed house. The burger I had was amazing. Very well seasoned and the blue was amazing. My wife had a great chorizo and queso ( which I finished at home that evening ) that was just the right spice level with fresh tasty corn chips. We would highly suggest this spot.Parking: Limited

We LOVE the Hideout. For a while, this was my in-laws favorite spot when they moved here so we frequented often. This place is busy! So be sure to make a reservation or get there early to put your name in. Given how busy it is, be prepared to have difficulty parking as well-- the parking lot for the restaurant is small and street parking is usually your only option on Soquel. As long as you can get a table, service and food are both great. I tend to always go with whatever fish special is available and it never disappoints. The restaurant itself has a great style with great artwork hanging around, even a fireplace in one of the dining rooms. Definitely worth checking out!

I’ve found a new lunch favorite, the Cuban sandwich, which nudges aside my previous favorite, the Reuben sandwich. Add some onion rings, yum.

Finally made my first visit to The Hideout and wowie! I had the Hideout Burger with onion rings. I ate everything and almost licked the plate clean. Very scrumptious. Along with the Gin Paloma cocktail...I had a great meal. Our server was attentive, but when I wanted something he wasn't around. I asked another server for the extra mayo I wanted and wham! She was right on top of it! The restaurant is great looking, lots of activity and noisy. That's ok. It won't keep me from going back. I need to try more things from the menu. Looking forward to seeing you again Hideout!
