Great outing with friends and family
If you haven't gone to the 626 night you don't know what you're missing
I recently visited the 626 Night Market with my cousins, and even though I’d heard so much about it, I approached it with mixed feelings. As a foodie, I was excited to explore, but I’m not a fan of waiting in long lines, especially when I can just visit a restaurant instead—though we were there to celebrate a special occasion.
Tip: Definitely arrive early and purchase your tickets in advance! We made the mistake of rushing to the first stalls and missed out on the full experience because we didn’t realize there was an entire other side to explore. Lesson learned! Wear comfortable shoes! Sunscreen! Hand Sanitizer!
Now, onto the food: the grilled squid was delicious, and the fried potatoes were an absolute must-try—especially when they’re hot and fresh. The tanghulu was fantastic, though a bit pricey; I’d suggest trying to make it at home if you can. The balut was good, and the grilled lamb was a standout—it was absolutely fire! However, the Thai rice patty sandwich was disappointing, so I’d recommend skipping that.
There’s so much to see and experience at the market, from tasty food to fun games. We even had a great time playing games, and all the cousins walked away with stuffed animals! Overall, we had a blast, and I recommend checking it out if you enjoy vibrant atmospheres and unique eats. Just remember to plan ahead for the best experience!
They marketed it as a lantern art expo, but there were barely any lanterns. Compared to other lantern festivals. Most of the area was filled with food stalls. There were some "exhibits" that didn't make any sense/out of place.
In one stall a cook was smoking while cooking some meat...the only impressive thing at this "art expo" is literally just the entrance with the dragons. And that's it. Not worth it.
Nice place

Favorite Dessert
The 626 Night Market is a fun and lively event offering a diverse range of foods from various countries. I highly recommend coming with a group and sharing dishes to try a bit of everything—otherwise, it can get pricey. Our experience was fantastic, with a great selection of food and drinks. We even stopped by the Johnnie Walker booth for a few rounds of samples.
In addition to the food, there are several booths selling merchandise and a live DJ keeping the atmosphere vibrant. I’ll definitely be returning! Be sure to arrive early, as it gets more crowded later in the evening.
Expensive lol be ready to spend $150-200 dollars but it’s fun and a cool place to hang out for sure! A dish might cost from $15-25 dollars

It was too expensive and too crowded
Crocodile bites were delicious! I forgot to take a picture. More the reason to go and try it out!
So much fun with fantastic choices of good eats!
Went the last weekend they're open, seems to be not ALOT of vendors, huge empty space inside the venue.
Lot of yummy food... but I think they increased the price of the food compared to 2 years back.
