Top tier sushi experience. They have limited seating in a confined interior, so there will be a long wait during weekends. I waited 45 minutes on Saturday night but it was worth the wait. The sushi premium set was filled with lots of high quality options and perfect for variety and quite filling. Staff are all very friendly and the interior is beautiful and clean.

Haven't been to too many sushi places in this area so it's hard to compare. But 5 stars all around. The service was great, all the staff were extremely attentive and we did not have to ask for refills or to have plates taken away. Fish quality was much better than I was expecting for a small shop in Arcadia. They have a great fish broker. Nigiri was prepared impeccably. Little to no fishy taste even with the mackerel.

The food and service was wonderful. This reminds me of sushi-gen sushi/sashimi set. It’s plenty of food and you will be full.

The mentaiko mazmen (noodles with cod roe sauce and truffle oil) this dish was amazing 🤩. I would come back just for this but the sashimi was so good too. The spicy tuna and crispy rice is a must get app. We ended our meal the shio ice cream and matcha cream brûlée. The shio was so good but the matcha was a little watery.

The reason I can’t give the service a 5 star is because there were plenty of tables and we didn’t get seated for a party of 3 until the 3rd person came.

The parking was a small lot but you could find street parking.

The ambiance is clean and background music was soft so you don’t have to talk over it.

Definitely will come back and recommend this place to my friends/family.

We had a nice dinner at Akami Sushi. The ambiance was peaceful and clean, with beautifully presented dishes and fresh ingredients throughout the meal. The special rolls were delicious and creative, and the tempura was light and crispy — not greasy at all.

That said, a few things held it back from being a full 5-star experience:

🍣 We ordered the Premium Sashimi Set, but the cuts didn’t really feel premium — they looked and tasted more like a regular sashimi plate in both size and quality.
🟠 The uni was fresh, but $21 for just 2 pieces felt pretty steep, even for good quality.

Overall, still a solid experience with fresh seafood and friendly service, but the pricing felt a bit high for what we received. Worth visiting if you’re looking for a quiet sushi dinner, just be mindful of the value.

Sushi is really beautiful in the plate, color and position is really really in right place to present the food. The only thing not right is vinegar in the rice is bit over when I visited. Also, sushi is not fully holding, two of them rice is lose. Service is superb and atmosphere is very friendly. Good place for a business lunch or friend gathering.

I can’t believe what great quality the food is here in such a small town. Everything was extremely fresh and delicious. The service was also excellent and our waitress answered all the questions we had and gave very good recommendations. I can’t wait to come back and try the omakase!

Super cute, super clean, super friendly, super delicious!!

Went on a Friday night around 6:30pm. They have a waitlist you can join, so the wait wasn't too long. The place is small, so I would suggest to get there early.

We ordered a bunch of things to share. Their black cod entree is amazing. Stand out specialty roll was the lemon roll. Everything we had was fresh. My favorite is the hotate (scallop) sushi. It was perfect.

We asked our server for some sake recommendations and she didn't have any, but had another server come over to help us and he was amazing. Ask for Logan if you're looking for a good sake to complement your meal.

Great addition to the neighborhood and highly recommended!

Great sushi. Light on the rice. Actually suggest asking for extra rice in the chirashi. Good for takeout as the line gets long and few seats inside.

The food was outstanding! This place is definitely one of our favorite restaurants we've had this year. The quality of the food was super!

The service was great, and the servers always kept our water topped off. The inside is a bit small, so it can get pretty busy.

The restaurant is located in a smaller corner lot that shares parking with other busy businesses, so do take note of that.

I ordered the Sashimi Premium. The sashimi is a bit dry, and the portion is smaller. The fried shrimps of the assorted tempura are a little bit raw. The restroom shall be upgraded a little bit.

The ambience and music are nice but not the food. Fish in Chirashi $36 before tax/tips is not super fresh and portion was very thinly sliced. Even the rice was meh.
