We came here for dinner and really liked it! The 咸豆花 was amazing, smooth, warm, and tasted super authentic. The fried dough sticks were crispy and fragrant, perfect for dipping. The place feels like a cozy local spot, nothing fancy but just right.
Cute place for a typical meal in 626. More character than the old generation of Chinese restaurants, the fried rice is solid, the bean curd noodles are quite good. Sheng jian bao are liable to shoot hot juice so be careful when taking that first bite.
We stopped by this little Shanghai restaurant for a quick dinner and were so pleasantly surprised! We ordered the noodles and wontons (云吞), and both were amazing — comforting, flavorful, and full of that true homemade taste.
The noodles were perfectly chewy, tossed in just the right amount of savory sauce — not greasy at all. You can tell they make them fresh. The wontons were delicate, filled with juicy pork and shrimp, floating in a light but flavorful...
