Good tasty food. I have many favorite dishes from this restaurant. The spicy gluten comes to mind, served with an aromatic sauce with slices of green chili peppers. The fried tofu is great as well, perfectly seasoned with ground salt and pepper and usually served on a bed of shredded cabbage. My other favorites are the mock fish dishes served with a variety ingredients, including tea eggs. The dumplings are delicious as well, served with a dipping sauce.Vegetarian options: All options are vegetarian considering it’s a vegetarian restaurant. They do serve egg so if you are a vegan just ask what they recommend.Parking: The parking on the street is fine, you can usually find a spot somewhere either on Huntington or on first street.

Healthy ovo-vegan restaurant. Wonderful party catering possibilities.

If you love bean sprouts and you're vegetarian this place is amazing! They do carry out only and take only cash. I was near the area and was looking for vegetarian options. The restaurant is in a busy street and not as noticeable since it's between other big shops. I placed an order on the phone for some spicy wontons and their Dan Dan noodles. I was told to come pick up in 15 mins. And the lady gave me the total right away so that I can bring the correct amount or such. When I got there, they had a doorbell that you can ring to get attended. When she handed me my food she told me that she had given me some extra wontons because there were some broken ones and wanted to make sure that I get the right amount . When I got the food, I was so hungry that I opened it up and ate it in the car. I couldn't contain myself. The spicy wontons were delicious! The inside had some glass noodles and some tofu. My spicy level is really high so when I ate these I was wondering where the spice was. Same with the Dan Dan noodles. They had bean sprouts and and bok choy with their version of mince meat in the noodles. It was my first time here and I already recommended this place to my family members when they are vegetarian to try it out. They also sell frozen wontons too! Will need to go back to pick some up.

Let me start by saying the food here is unreal. When I went vegetarian a few years ago with my fiancé (who was already vegetarian), this place was a lifesaver. My fiancé introduced me to this restaurant and it is one of our local favorites. I would recommend the Dan Dan rice, the rainbow rolls, the crispy seaweed, the miso soup, and the fried mushrooms that taste like meat. The food always is so flavorful and delicious; it always tastes fresh! I will say though that they are kind of rude on the phone. Whenever my fiancé and I used to come eat here in person pre-pandemic times, they were incredibly nice. Maybe they were busy and sounded short on the phone, because in person they were nicer. But overall, we would go back and recommend them.

Covid times still so you can only order to go. There is a limited menu too and the rainbow roll is not available. Instead, they have a wrap. Get the wrap!!! It is amazingly packed with flavor and delicious highly recommend! Remember that this place is cash only too.

To be honest the food here is not terrible.. It is just over price and the service is not that great. A server never came to check on us or at least fill our water. We would have to hunt them down to be able to get more water. We were not happy with the service that we received. Even though the service was terrible we still tipped 15% For them. But the server came out and chase us down demanding more tip. We were shock at their behavior and the ungratefulness that they were showing us.

Love this place!! So happy to have them back. Let's all remember how challenging it has been for restaurants this past year, everyone is just trying to get back on their feet. I cannot wait to continue to support vegetarian gem!!

I've eaten here maybe more than 10 years ago and being a non-vegetarian just didn't really appeal to me but lately devided to give them another try. They seem to have made changes due to COVID. I tried to order online for pickup but that was unavailable. If you text or call 626-787-3819 you'll be able to place an order. Their menu is currently limited. I had wanted to try the rainbow roll but the lady said they didn't have it but could make a hand roll so I gave that a try along with hot and sour soup. The prices currently are also different from online. I thought $3 soup would be a small bowl, so I ordered 2 portions only to find that the soup is actually $8 now and a ginormous tub. But no worries turned out the soup was sooo delicious! I don't mind having extra to eat especially in this cold, rainy weather. For picking up orders they blocked off the front door entrance with a table. You go there, pay and pickup your order. Just keep in mind it is cash only. The service is great. The lady was attentive and friendly.
