The location and business name are confusing because it's literally one name in front and then when you order, they also have their Cheeky Cheeky Monkey menu. The kung pao chicken lunch (includes soup and rice) was average, not the best quality but satisfies your hunger. It would've been nice if hot tea was complimentary with food ordered here for dine-in. Table service was good.

As a Taiwanese I’m pretty critical when it comes to stir fries, and this place def exceeded my expectations for a fast, Chinese stir fry rice bowl! I ordered mangolia beef w the side cabbage, the meat is not too oily nor salty, just the right amount of seasoning along with the green and white onions. The side cabbage tastes fresh and crispy, def not those catering Chinese chain where veggies are sitting in the tray for too long till they’re soft and sad. I ordered delivery when it’s kinda passed dinner time, so I was worried that I’m gonna get cold food, but everything in the bowl including the white rice came warm! My bf ordered broccoli beef and seems to be satisfied too. The bowl is simple but the everything is on point!

Mediocre Chinese food. No sign on the window, you'll waste time looking for it. Pretty much sums up their customer service, which is nonexistent. Better than starving I guess.

Nope! Never coming here again. It's the same as changs garden. The food was meh and the customer service was horrible. The two females at the front were rude to me when I tried paying with my card. A man yelled from the back and he changed her tone and said ok ok after I had already handed her a bill. I mean I could have ordered online and would have been able to pay with my card. Any who, first and last time eating at either restaurant. The food, it was bland, nothing too special. Pretty disappointed in this place.

Quick SummarySolid, fast Chinese food. Pretty large portions of rice. It may have less salt than most Chinese restaurants, but still greasy (so not exactly a healthy option, but a slightly healthier option for Chinese food)Food- 4 starsSweet and sour fish- this was pretty good and standard. I did like how there wasn't too much flour/batter, and you had good chunks of fishBroccoli and beef bowl- pretty good as well. They gave a ton of rice in the bowl. Less salty and greasy than Panda and other Chinese restaurantsService- 4 starsNo frills. You get your food quick and get out. Exactly what you expect from a Chinese restaurantBottom LinePretty good spot for fast Chinese food, especially if you're not free to wait for a table and just want to-go

Soup dumplings 4/5 stars.Scallion pancakes 3/5 stars. Felt undercooked.Green bean roll 4/5 stars. Don't order this and the scallion pancake. Same pancake material. Also the sauce they have at every table just isn't that good. Too vinegary. When the sauce you're dipping everything in isn't delicious, limits how good the meal can be.

30 minute order and pick up on NYE 2022, thank you. I ordered 4 pork buns, 4 wagyu buns and 2 volcano buns. Both meat buns were good but nothing super great. The wagyu was flavorful but had a lot of onions. The pork was pretty dry. I was not a fan of the volcano. I didn't like the texture of the custard.

I was pleasantly surprised by my food and the experience here. It's part of a strip mall / plaza so parking is definitely tough ... And you'll miss it if you're not looking for it because the signage isn't great and it's on the corner connected to Chang's garden. I got the beef buns and was loving them. Not sure if that's because of the quality or the fact that there's another place that I like in the South Bay that's too far to get to and these were good enough lol. But I love buns that have a lot of dough and a good portion size of meat inside. They had a hint of sweetness - so good! For my entree I got the orange chicken I know seems basic but that's what I had a taste for and it did not disappoint. I didn't think I would eat the whole bowl but I practically did. I had a few pieces of chicken and some rice left that I wanted to take home but I left it on the table and by the time I called 10 minutes after leaving they had already cleaned up and thrown it out. That was a bummer but I'm definitely going to go back and get some more. The sauce on the orange chicken was sweet but not over the top and I appreciate it that it wasn't drowned in sauce but covered. My friend had a beef noodle bowl she didn't think she was going to eat the whole bowl but it was so good that she did. Service was great all the ladies were friendly and due to the current climate not a lot of people were there so we basically had the outdoor patio to ourselves. I may have to just stop here for lunch one day!

Very nice. Starts with hot tea and boiled peanuts - the peanuts were different but fun. 2nd hot and sour soup, which was a little plain but good. I had the Chinese prime rib, which was good but had bones throughout. Buyer beware. It's for slow eaters ONLY! think eating fresh fish as a child. Good taste, loads of work

I was craving tomato egg today (a new found food) and decided to try this place. I called and they quoted me 20 minutes but I got there in 11 and my food was already ready for pick up! The tomato egg bowl also comes with your choice of sautéed green beans or cabbage and I chose cabbage this time. I can't determine if this place is better than others because I don't know what it's supposed to taste like, I just know that it's good. I like the fact that it wasn't too sweet. The other place I went to in rancho was really sweet, although it was tasty as well. Their portions are large so I had a good big dinner right now and am so happy that I got to try this place out. My tomato egg with tax ended up being $12.12For those of you confused, the food is located in Chang's Garden but they have a sign up. Pretty good place to get lunch too since it's in a bowl. Definitely will come again to try other items. I'm not huge on getting rice bowls and more into family style things (besides tomato egg) I'm looking forward to seeing how they expand their menu as they grow.

It's called something else but when you go in the parking lot it'll be the first restaurant on the right. You get a large amount of food for the price. I had the Orange Chicken w rice. Friendly staff. Great place to go for long road trips because the meals can be reheated and you definitely get your money's worth. Tip the wait staff remember that they've been knocked around by the pandemic which has closed a lot of restaurants permanently. Definitely going there again. Best Chinese Food in the San Gabriel Valley.

Yum!!! We were a group of 14 people when we went to eat. we were literally the only ones there on a Saturday afternoon almost as if we rented out the place. we ordered their fried chicken, pork belly, beef roll, dimsum (w/ soup inside), seaweed fried fish, and kung pao chicken. everything was spot on!!! forget that we were famished hence ordering a lot (which us an understatement) but it came out at a decent amount of time.fair warning, everything will be served in a to go container, they used disposables as plates and utensils. they are strictly following the guidelines for Covid so do not be shocked. there were a lot of people getting their take outs but we were still accomodated very well by everyone. good food, good service deserves 5 stars.

I ordered food from the Arcadia location with a bunch of friends, at the recommendation of one of my friends. Rather than ordering a bunch of entrees and then rice comes on the side, Cheeky Cheeky Monkey sells rice bowls where the entree comes with vegetables and rice. They also serve beef rolls and string bean rolls. The menu is fairly small, but quality is more important than quantity. The dishes sound more like American Chinese, but the flavor profile is lighter and less greasy than what you would find at similarly restaurants. I really liked the sweet and sour fish bowl and the tomato scrambled egg bowl, and the string bean roll was quite good too.The owner also gave us a small sample of their buns, which are not on the menu yet, but are actually quite tasty. In the future they plan to serve sweet buns like egg custard buns as well as savoury buns like roast pork buns and chicken with mushroom buns. I'm looking forward to ordering their buns when they become a regular feature on the menu.
