Marian was soooo wonderful to work with. She responded quickly to all my questions in the email and was able to create the smash cake and mini cupcakes exactly as I requested. I was so impressed with how they turned out when I went to pick them up. They looked so cute and lovely! Picking up the order was a breeze. Just parked in the back parking lot and called to let her know that I was there and she came out with the goodies. Not sure if it was Marian herself who came out to hand me the smash cake and cupcakes, but the person who did was super sweet and pleasant. My nephew enjoyed eating the smash cake and the kids at the party loved the mini cupcakes. Thank you so much!! Would definitely order from here again for future events. I placed an order for two custom cakes for my son's first birthday. I am completely happy I decided to go with Crumpets Bakeshop!! From beginning to end, the entire process was very easy and efficient. I reached out to them about 3 months in advance before the event. They were super responsive when I emailed them my request and Marian right away got in touch with me. After I shared a couple of sample pictures of what I was looking for, without hesitation, Marian let me know they could definitely create the design I was looking for. Initially, they did not have the press for the seal I was looking for that was part of the design but Marian let me know she is able to order that specific press. She felt it was worth adding that press to her collection since the seal meant "longevity". The design I shared with her was for a traditional Korean First Birthday Celebration (Dol). I ordered a regular cake with fondant and a smash cake with fondant as well. I decided to go with the crème brûlée flavor for the regular cake. For the smash cake, I went with the Bavarian cream + strawberries. I picked up my order a day before the event, which was Saturday. The pick up window was between 9am - 11am. I met Donna that day. She was super friendly and sweet. She brought the cakes to my car and helped set them up. It was a curbside pickup and it was super easy to find parking. Plenty of spaces available. Both cakes were exactly how I wanted them. They really nailed the design. As for the flavor, they were amazing!! Really tasty!!I definitely recommend this business! This will be my go to place for any custom cake needs from now on. Thank you Marian and Donna for such a great experience! The whole process was seamless and I was very satisfied with the craftsmanship of the cakes!!

PSA: If you need a high quality bake shop for your upcoming event / celebration, look no further than women-owned, Crumpets Bakeshop, located in Arcadia, CA. This place is the real deal. Practically anything you can imagine in regards to designs, they can make which is awesome. I recently hosted my husband's birthday gathering and thought of getting a cake made for him at the last minute (ooops) and so I emailed CB to see if it was feasible to have a cake made in the short window of time I provided (less than a week) and instead of being told no, Marian so generously and graciously accommodated my request and made me the cutest and tastiest cake just in time for my hubby's party. Note: They request at least 2 weeks notice based on demand. Being that my hubby loves dim sum and the like, it was only fitting to have a cute bao bun cake made for him while we celebrated over a dim sum lunch. I ordered a 2-layer cake in the Boston Cream Pie flavor ($40) with added decorations ($75). Overall total was $115. And let me tell ya, The cake was a hit. For the cake tasting, we could be three cake options and could pay extra for extra options. My bridesmaid and I absolutely fell for the chocolate hazelnut! I knew everyone would enjoy eating it at our reception. I kept in contact with Marian leading up to the wedding and she was always quick to respond. She made everything easy for us, so I'm so, so thankful to have chosen Crumpets to do our wedding cake. The cake was absolutely beautiful! I also had some coloring issues with the cake topper I ordered from Etsy, and Marian was willing to help fix it! I had a wonderful experience in ordering a custom cake for my sister's graduation from UCLA. At first, I couldn't decide among the many bakeries in my area, but I eventually decided on Crumpets so I could support a local small business. After perusing their website for information, I emailed the bakery with what I had in mind and with references/inspiration pictures that I hoped were helpful. Donna replied to me and after some email back and forth, we chatted over the phone to finalize the details, payment, and pickup. I ordered a 6", UCLA colored, raspberry matcha custom cake. The cake incorporates the Kirby meme, the UCLA bruin/grizzly bear, and her involvement in The Daily Bruin. Donna had provided helpful suggestions for details that I wasn't certain about how they would look. My family and I ADORED the cake and it tasted great! Donna and the Crumpets Bakeshop team did an incredible job and I was so happy with the ease of the ordering process and final cake. They were also able to accommodate a last minute change in pickup date, which I greatly appreciated. I definitely raved about this cake to my friends and will gladly return for future custom cake orders.

I've ordered 3 different cakes from Crumpets since Sept 2021, and I honestly cannot say which was the best. You can find their flavors and sizes here: I have tried the Toblerone (amazing!) Sweet but not too sweet and the ganache was beautiful. I had the creme brulee. Also extremely good with a crunchy texture layer. Most recently I ordered a strawberry freckled lemonade cake and even my anti-cake husband enjoyed it! The cakes here are very simple (unless you ask for a special design) but they are so tasty! Marian and her team can't go wrong!

Marian is the best! I pre ordered two cakes plus 4 mini dozen cupcakes for my sons birthday about a month before the date and she was able to accommodate my order. I was so indecisive on what to order but Marian gave me her professional advice which worked out the best! Now on to the flavor of her cakes & cupcakes. They are DELICIOUS! We ordered the passion fruit & blueberry white cake as well as the dark chocolate hazelnut. The blueberry cake was my favorite. I recommend it 100%. The chocolate cake was very rich! (Which is to be expected from a dark chocolate cake, it is dense & sweet). For the mini cupcakes they were the perfect bite size! I ordered strawberry lemonade, (10 out of 10), raspberry matcha, (more mellow in flavor but still delicious), crème brûlée (I did not try it personally but my guests raved about it), and lastly coffee hazelnut- I literally took a moment of silence to appreciate how delicious it was!!! If your thinking of ordering this flavor do so and you will not regret it!! Thank you Marian for all your patience with me and for your amazing bakery!!
