This is our third trip to Arcadia staying at a hotel while my husband is in the hospital nearby. We were looking for a restaurant that was reasonable but really good with a variety of menu options because we are going to have to eat out quite frequently. I cannot explain how happy I was that we found this particular Denny's. It is without a doubt the best Denny's I have ever visited and not only on this one trip we went here on a previous trip and can attest to the fact that it is consistently good. In fact the same manager, Paulina, and the same cook, Erasmo,were working when we were here a month ago. It is extremely unusual to to return with the lapse of time to have the same employees working there. That in fact speaks extremely highly of the restaurant. The manager was incredibly welcoming and kind. I have a lot of special dietary needs and she made sure everything was written down and conveyed to the Cook perfectly. In fact she even went back in the kitchen herself and helped cooked. But, I cannot say enough great things about Erasmo, the cook. He was the cook when we were here before. He remembered my order from before and recreated it perfectly for me. With all the stress we are going through at the hospital, to come to this Denny's, exhausted and hungry, and to have such a wonderful experience with the food, the service, and the kindness on top of that almost put me in tears. If you are in the Arcadia area and are looking for a consistently good meal with a variety of options you do not need to look any further. This is unequivocally the best Denny's and best restaurant in the area for it's people, value, quality, and consistency. An update to the last review. . Unfortunately, we have to return for another surgery for my husband. And of course, I'm returning to my favorite Denny's off of Huntington Boulevard in Arcadia. I feel like every time I come here it is family. The same manager Paulina, Grace the food server, and Erasmo the cook were all here to greet me as if I never left and was gone since October. It is because they are still here that this restaurant is so consistently amazing. I cannot begin to express how good the food is and consistently good which I can count on every time. I've never been to another Denny's like this one in fact another restaurant that is this consistently good especially for the value. Kudos to Erasmo for always remembering how to cook what I love. I am a very diet restricted eater and he accommodates so nicely for me. And Grace remembered as well and so willingly wrote down everything even though it's a lot to write down without even complaining or blinking an eye. Paulina has the most pleasing personality and remembers everything I ordered and makes sure that everything comes out just the way I want it. They seem to work so well together as a team and it reflects in the food. It was nice that I even got to order pecan pie my husband's favorite dessert right before his surgery tomorrow that was an unexpected surprise it was going to be the strawberry cheesecake his other favorite. They make for some difficult decisions here. Seriously if you are in the area and you want a consistently wonderful meal in a family environment this is your choice.
