Food is terrible. Nobody around us was eating their rice including us. Service was pretty good. This place used to be at the Santa Anita mall years ago and it used to get great.

The vegan tacos are very good. The super spicy red salsa is the best!!! I can't give this place 5 stars because it takes a long time for someone to notice you're waiting to be seated or place a to-go order (even with two employees at the bar that see you waiting).

This was the famous and amazing PACO'S until recently. The menu claims it's "more authentic Mexican" but the dishes seem fairly identical. If anything the guacamole and taquitos were less Mexican than before, but still delicious. The only difference seems to be a vast increase in price. We used to go here about 4-5 times a year. Now we'll cut that in half, at least, simply because they're too expensive. Pacos wasn't cheap, by any stretch, but when it's $130 for a family of 4, pre-tip & tax, and we don't drink anything other than tap water, this isn't reasonable for many families. The complimentary chips are great. The food is good. If you don't mind paying a premium for above average quality food, this is a good spot. I miss Pacos. When we went to Paco's you'd usually have a manager or mucky-muck come check on you to make sure everyone was happy. That's never happened since it became Don Ricardo's. They also got rid of the yummy mints at the front desk. Little things, sure, but they show the new owners care more about profit than running a family friendly restaurant that values its customers, not just their wallets.

Great Ambiance,love the decor Love the El Rey Margarita much better then the house margarita. Service was okay Love the small dish of beans offered with a side of chips and salsa. I asked for a small sample of their mole sauce hoping I would love it since I love & follow mole dishes . It was okay very thin/light not much flavor actually missing some seasonings. I order Chile Colorado ,had a very good flavor with a spice kick to it enjoyed it -good rice and beans The red enchiladas was good very basic sauce , more tolerable flavor for kids no big spice. I did enjoy a flavor able flan

Ordered to go for lunch. The food has a great flavor. I do wish they had a special salad dressing other than just the norms.We then went back for dinner and it was delicious. I had the number 11 and we also had Don Ricardo’s burrito. Both were absolutely amazing so much food. I had to save it till the next day and even reheating it the next day the food tasted very very good I would absolutely be going back and would recommend

Best Chilaquiles ever!!!! Perfectly cooked, crispy, one half with a light touch of salsa verde and the other half with salsa roja. With slices of queso fresco on the side this chilaquiles are the most delicious I ever had. The beans and the potato's tasted so good. Their service is awesome. I felt welcome and cared for.My compliments to all the staff for providing us with such great food and service!!!!! I can't say enough about this place. Go try it out!!!!!
Messed up pick up order, clearly stated I have an allergy to sourcream and had the guy repeat it back. When got home, saw they messed that up. Called in but all they said was "sorry". Horrible service even after messing up and didnt offer to even make it again. Just an awkward "sorry". Hung up after that

This is a tradition Mexican restaurant with a full menu and full bar, everything you would expect. This restaurant has had a recent name change but otherwise it has been in continuous operation at this location for a long time, it is a local favorite.

Ran across this nice place when I had came up in the neighborhood . service was outstanding and the food was delicious . I recommend this place and I will definitely come back

Had a yummy dinner here. Margaritas were great. We had 3 different ones at our table. Service was friendly. Cozy place we some good food. Salsa was good and the beans. Nachos were good and I'm gluten free and did not get sick. My friends husband got the fajitas with flour tortillas. My friend got Chile Colorado. Chori queso for the table which was with tortillas and kind of made you own quesadillas. Overall it was a delicious dinner.

I recently dined at don Ricardos restaurant, and unfortunately. The burrito I initially received had chewy steak, which was quite disappointing. Upon requesting a replacement with Carnitas, the portion was served with huge chunks making it difficult to eat. Last time it was shredded. The inconsistency in quality affected my overall satisfaction with the meal. I hope the restaurant addresses these issues to enhance the dining experience for future customers.
