It is definitely the most delicious Chinese restaurant in LA! The decoration is luxurious, the products are top-notch, and the prices are average. I hope we can keep it up and not let down our diners.
It's more like a new-style morning tea. The environment is pretty good and the dishes are pretty good. The service is very good. The roasted duck on the copper plate is okay. The skin is thin and crispy. The meat is very tender. The baked rice with seafood is in white sauce and has almost no taste. It's average. The black gold quicksand buns taste like the ones I bought in the supermarket. The mangosteen beef balls are almost as delicious as the barbecued pork rice rolls...
Drove past this location couple weeks ago and saw long lines out the door so I was intrigued. Decided to visit this past weekend and I was let down by the positive reviews on Yelp. Out of the all the dim sum places in the 626 area, I personally do not believe this restaurant elevated the dishes to what seems like a "high class" dim sum restaurant based on their prices. Most dim sum dishes here at $6.88 each, while there are a few cheaper than that and plenty that are...
