Great food for the price. Combo set meals provide a large variety at a reasonable price. Because it's such a small place, service is pretty slow, but for the price and food, it's worth it.Parking: As with any downtown area, parking is a hassle. Best bet is to find side street parking, but it's generall pretty packed. There are smaller parking lots, but they are for other businesses in the area.

Very authentic Japanese sushi! The quality is so nice and the price is very reasonable. My personal favorite is their Unagi, squid, and yellowtail. All the fish are super fresh, they are selected by the owner every morning from the fish market.

How could I say I love the restaurant here. Just after shopping at the shops at Santa Anita and searching for the restaurant nearby, it's the first and closest choice. The store is small and might be somewhat old-fashioned, but you could feel the warmth. The decorations are specially designed while the staff are welcoming. The chef responsible for the sushi bar could always talk with the customers sitting at the bar. We ordered the recommended Salmon sashimi, it's fresh enough. The seafood Hotpot is rich in taste and the fish inside might be cod of great taste. It's also a special hand roll of scallops topped with grilled cheese. That's great and might be with the locals' taste.Parking: Parking at the rear of the store is limited.

I had a highly unpleasant experience at the restaurant. To my surprise, they stop all sittings at 1:15 pm for their 2 pm closing time. It would have been helpful if this information was mentioned on their website. I arrived around 1:17 pm with my two young kids, but despite the restaurant being quite empty, they refused to seat us.While I understand the need to adhere to their rules, I found the staff's attitude dismissive and rude. I will definitely not consider dining at this restaurant again. On a positive note, I went to another Japanese restaurant down the street called Sushi Kizen, and the customer experience there was so much better!

Rude place. We got there at 8:17 with very hungry and tired kids, we were not seated because the last seating is at 8:15. The place is open until 9:30 and there are many seats available. Very Rude.

This is our go to sushi joint! They've got a nice amount of public parking in the back and although it might not be AYCE you will definitely fill up at a reasonable price. We usually get the chirashi bowls and the fish is always reasonably sized and delicious. Unlike most sushi places, this place doesn't stink of fish or seafood and is very clean. The chef is always in high spirits, and plays a nice selection of music. It is a family owned restaurant however, so they open for a few hours in the morning and again in the evening so make sure to check hours before going.

A great Japanese restaurant in Arcadia. Nice options of food and very affordable prices as well, especially their lunch sets! Food and service are decent given the price point. The establishment is clean with woody Japanese decor. Just note that it's cash only for checks under $20.

We have been dining here for over 20 years & the food was always delicious & the place always felt cozy & comfortable! Throughout covid we often ordered to-go & the food was always on point. 6 months ago was the last time we were here & the rice was way over vinegary. It had never happened before & we figured it was just that 1 day, but today the rice was really bad. The taste & texture was wrong & it was not restaurant worthy. It shouldn't have been served at all in a Japanese restaurant. We really wanted to go over & talk to the owners, but didn't. We feel bad! We have been here over 20 yrs, but it's just not the same anymore. We are giving it 4 stars bcuz of history.

I was introduced to this cozy, family owned sushi restaurant by my Dad :) Complimentary parking right behind its restaurant. They offered great varieties on the lunch special menu at a very affordable pricing as well .. Food tasted sweet, yummy and fresh . Service was pleasant . You can tell it is a family-owned restaurant because everyone works there are all so personable and dedicated . This place serves authentic sashimi , sushi and all of the traditional Japanese favorites Great quality food , amazing services and pricing! Solid five stars . Highly recommended to those who likes healthy portions and great quality sushi without over paying when the bill arrives :)
