Won't come 2nd time
Tiny size, loose rice, ugly shape, 3 rolls are different sizes .
Reality and the AD are totally different !
The 3 pictures were what I was served, and the beautiful picture is the Ad.
I have never seen such ugly sushi!

Quality is not good. I have been to Kura sushi in Asia, one at this location is pretty bad. Salmon skin hand roll is weird. Feel like they don’t have enough time to bake it or fried it, not crispy at all. Gross

First time at a Kura location and I might actually be obsessed. Super clean and super fast service from both human and robot workers. The belt is usually well stocked but the high-speed belt is always there in case your favorite plate was snatched up before it got to you. The sushi itself always tasted fresh and delicious. It was definitely the sushi experience of the year and I whole-heartedly recommend it to anyone who loves some good sushi. Remember to at least reach 15 plates for the gacha prize (yes there is a super rare pull)!! Also highly recommend making a reservation beforehand!!! Super easy from their app <3

It’s not worth the price and wait . Just go to a normal Janpanese restaurant, better service and quality. The price is the same with the fine Japanese restaurant.

Don’t put people waiting in line standing for hours if it’s open for reservations only.

Beware of getting in line, they will serve reservations first. The line seems short, but it takes 2-3 hours. Bad experience won’t come back again

Have a very good lunch here. Waiting time it’s ok. Staff nice 👍
The experience was very novel. Besides the revolving sushi, side items and udon had to be ordered on the monitor next to the table. When the food is ready, it comes to the customer’s table on a conveyor belt. And, there’s a robot that brings your water and wasabi. But, aside from the high-technology that they showcase, the food was disappointing and so was the accuracy of our bill, which was fixed. But, our overall experience was like being at a fast food sushi restaurant. I don’t think there’s a second visit for us.

I had been looking forward to this for years and it did not disappoint. It is so much fun just grabbing plates off of a conveyor belt and eating sushi with your friends. The food is really good. The game vacation of the restaurant experience is really fun. I would highly recommend. The only thing that could be improved is the lighting. It is very bright and harsh like a school cafeteria when it should be more dim and sexy.

It was good! Fun experience but nothing fancy. I prefer the restaurant experience instead of a food court.

App for reservations is broken 😔
kura dont take reservations anywhere else. why does this place take reservations and then doesnt even let you make a reservation?
This restaurant has taken over the Santa Anita mall food court. The lines are long from the minute they open, and it will be interesting to see how long the hype lasts for. The revolving sushi is very fun, convenient, and overall a great experience. They also have robots to bring you drinks. Despite all of the technology, the staff are still very friendly and helpful, quickly taking away trash and refilling water. The plates of sushi have a ton of selection, and every 5 plates an animation plays on the tablet, and every 15 plates you get a small keychain from the ball machine. The quality of the sushi and nigiri is sacrificed for the efficiency though. The rice of the nigiri falls apart, and you can tell they made it hastily. Overall it is a fun experience, you just need to be careful and not treat it as an all you can eat, since the plates add up really quickly.
