I hate thinking about this place cause I live so far and my mouth waters when I look at the photos. By far, by far the best noodles I’ve ever had in Los Angeles.Simple unpretentious good food

Wonderful dinner, their hand-made noodles are addictive. They get the spice level just right too.

I love their house made flat noodles. The beef is soft and good quality. However, the soup tastes very bland to me, almost like chicken broth.

So good! We had the spicy beef soup with wide noodles, the chow mein with triangle noodles, and the pork burger. All were very good! The beef noodle soup was great and the chewiness of the noodles was fantastic. Will have to return and try many more things. The chili oil was on point. The man who took our order was very friendly.

Around 20 bucks for an appetizer, noodles, and a drink. Great stuff. Medium is not that spicy. Will get spicy next time. Hand made noodle soup can't go wrong!
One of the best chinese noodle places in Arcadia/Pasadena area. I usually go for Pickled Mustard Green Beef Noodle Soup with Tea Egg - it is a perfect brunch after a heavy drinking night.

Great tasting Lanzhou noodles. Stopped by for their big chicken platter. Ordered ahead for pickup so I avoided the line. This location is always packed, typically with Asian (Chinese?) customers, including the overflow tables outside. It isn't the fanciest place but they make great food that's enjoyed by many

Borderline 3-4 stars. Rather hole in the wall-ish, which is fine for me but beware if you are on a date or something like that :)The thing to get IMHO is the Pickled Mustard Green Beef Noodle Soup, medium spice. This hit the spot, delicious and big flavors, not too spicy. I went with the wide flat noodles, I would probably go with something thinner next time but it was great anyway. Otherwise, don't change a thing. Distinctive, 5 star dish. The Signature LAN Noodle (mild spice) was just okay, rather thinner and lighter consistency than I expected. This looked a lot more flavorful than it was. My wife and I both preferred the pickled mustard green beef soup without question. That said, if you want a mild and easy to slurp noodle soup, this is it.Appetizer sampler - Cucumbers, pickled cabbage, and celery peanuts were all okay, but did amount to a lot of food for 2 people plus a 3 year old.Chicken chow mein with wide flat noodles - nice and mild for a 3 year old, she liked the noodles. Vaguely more authentic than usual, but do not expect big flavor.Goji fermented rice drink - very weird. My wife liked it.Service is friendly, and the price wasn't bad (about $50 for the above out the door).Lots of framed LA Times articles and such on the walls. I wouldn't go so far as to call it a bucket list foodie joint, but it is pretty good and for sure worthy of a noodle craving. More accessible flavors than many super authentic Chinese joints in 626.

Tucked away in the back of the plaza that holds Tokyo Wako and capital seafood, sits this little unassuming store of LAN noodle. When you walk in you can tell that's it's a no frill place where you can see the chef making the noodle. The servers are attentive but also quick. We ordered the kelp salad and 2 individual bowls of noodle soup. The broth came out decadent and warm, perfect for a cold day, and the kelp salad had a nice vinegar kick to it that my wife really enjoys.Only knock against it is the fact that the appetizers are pretty expensive (I believe $7 for the kelp salad) i guess everything is going up in price but it's a tough pill to swallow paying that much for a veggie app (like cucumber or kelp salad). That being said not enough to knock off a star

5/5 for the food, service, and location. SO GOOD! My friend recommended me this place. The interior is small, but the food is bombbb. Food: I got the Braised Beef Noodle as recommended by my friend and YESSS. After a day of walking in the Descanso Gardens and the Arboretum, the braised beef noodle sure hit the spot. The noodles are freshly made and the braised beef was soft and melts in your mouth. I devoured my bowl and finished the broth in like 10 minutes. Service: Great. I came during off-peak hours so I was able to get seated immediately. I know this place gets super busy during lunch/dinner so try to come during off-peak hours. I got my check, water, and food with little wait. Location: In a commercial plaza with neighboring businesses, so parking is ample. Easy to find parking. The restaurant is fairly small, i think it fits about maybe 20 people max. Overall, i'm definitely coming back here! I want to show my fiance this place because he'll love the braised beef.
