Came here with a friend and the 3-tier Omakase platter was a showstopper. The scallop and uni were my favorites, super creamy and flavorful. The Yellowtail Carpaccio was light and refreshing with just the right kick, and the Snowflakes Roll was fun and crunchy. Service was really friendly and the place had a great vibe. Totally coming back!

Tried their Sushi omakase and it was excellent -- super fresh, perfectly balanced, and a real showcase of the chef's skills. Also had the sashimi & BBQ ribs, which made for a fun surf-and-turf combo -- fresh fish paired with tender, flavorful ribs. Great spot for variety and quality!

Checked out Maki & Sushi in Arcadia, LA and it was amazing! 🍣 The shrimp fried rice was fragrant with wok hei, shrimp super juicy and flavorful. The sashimi platter was so fresh—salmon buttery, tuna sweet and firm. Loved the Hamachi Jalapeño “no-rice sushi,” fresh and zesty with a perfect kick. The special roll with tempura shrimp, tuna, avocado, and crunchy flakes was packed with texture and flavor. Every bite felt like a surprise. 🌟 Fresh ingredients, beautiful plating, and great service—highly recommend for sushi lovers in LA!

We randomly picked this spot, but wow—it turned out so good! We ordered some must-try Dishes: Mountain Hand Roll (super loaded!), Bluefin Tuna Sashimi (so fresh & tender), Jessica Alba (fun name, delicious flavor!), Rock N’Roll (surprisingly SO good)
Here are Chef’s Recommendations: Halibut Carpaccio — fresh, silky, and melts in your mouth! Premium Sushi — every bite is top quality and super fresh!
Highly recommend this spot if you’re in LA! You won’t be disappointed

Maki & Sushi - Arcadia, CA
Tucked along Huntington Drive, Maki & Sushi is a hidden gem that delivers big on flavor. The Rainbow Roll was fresh and beautifully plated, and the Spicy Tuna with Crispy Rice had just the right kick. Friendly staff, cozy vibes, and a menu full of creative rolls make this spot a go-to for sushi lovers in the SGV. Don't sleep on the Carlos Special Roll--it's a showstopper!

The Otsukuri Sashimi (24 pcs) was perfection – 8 kinds of fish, super tender, melts in your mouth. The Soft Shell Crab was so crispy and light, especially with the tangy ponzu. The Crunch Roll was massive – creamy avocado + crunchy tempura shrimp = happiness. And the BSCR Roll loaded with baked scallops? Chef’s kiss. Easily my fave Japanese spot in Arcadia, and it’s only 6 min from the mall!

This Japanese restaurant exceeded all my expectations! From the freshness of the ingredients to the artistic plating, everything showed the chef’s care. I ordered the Omakase and each course was stunning — especially the uni and toro, which melted in my mouth. The service was attentive, and the ambiance calm and elegant, perfect for a date or special occasion!

Enjoyed a dinner here. Originally wanted Ramen, but last minute change and I arrived here. Service was very fast and friendly. They made an error, but corrected it VERY quickly - may have even been my fault. I thought the food was delicious and filling. It is very small, but don't let that distract you from the quality ingredients they put on your plate. I will visit again.

Good but nothing special. $40 sashimi bowl had a few sloppily cut pieces, not a big deal but that’s a first for me at this price point. The rolls we had with it were ok. Would recommend going if you are going with people who also want other things except sushi. If sushi is all you want, there are better places.

Lowkey obsessed with this place. Walked in kinda hungry, walked out full and emotionally satisfied 😂

The Salmon Carpaccio? So fresh it almost made me emotional. Thin slices, a hint of citrus. It was clean, bright, and honestly just hit different. I wasn’t even planning to order it but now I want it every time.

Then the Spicy Sashimi Bibimbab came in hot (literally and figuratively). Warm rice, cold fish, spicy sauce, crunchy veggies… it’s like flavor chaos in the best possible way. My mouth was confused and happy at the same time.

Staff was chill, food came out fast, no weird energy. Parking was easy too which is always a bonus around here.

I’ll absolutely be back. This spot feels lowkey but delivers highkey joy.

The moment you walk in, you’re instantly wowed by the wooden interior and sushi bar — it truly feels like you’ve stepped into an izakaya in Tokyo.

🥢 Here’s what we ordered:
🍣 Chirashi Bowl – Packed with fresh sashimi! The salmon was unbelievably buttery and rich 🤤🤤🤤. Super generous portion.
🍜 Seafood Udon – Hearty portion with a fresh, slightly sweet broth. Loaded with a variety of seafood and super refreshing — perfect if you’re not into fried food.
🦪 Broiled Mussels – 8 pieces, topped with a flavorful sauce. So delicious!
🥩 Filet Mignon Steak – Tender and bouncy texture with a unique sauce that really stands out.

🔥 If you’re a Japanese food lover, this spot is a must-visit. Plus, it’s super affordable — around $30–$50 per person!
