There used to be in a Marugame near my college, but it has disappeared and since then, I’ve been yearning for it. Marugame’s noodles are bouncy and the soup rich in fishy flavor. I love the ability to tempura, but my tempura was a little too soggy in the breading. But overall, loved the experience and the food

We had an ehhh experience at the one in Hawaii, so I had to really convince BF to give the new Arcadia location a try. I think with this visit, I've successfully changed his mind!

I really wanted a beef bowl and couldn't find a place for a decent one. So of course when I saw that Marugame had one on its menu, I had to order it to try. We also went against the grain of ordering the usual udon selections and tried one of their curry noodle options. And...

Marugame Udon is a comfort food for me. I love how convenient it is to get a solid bowl of udon here.
