Really authentic Hong Kong food, but the wait times can be long. They are busy seemingly nonstop. I usually call in for takeout and it can take upwards of 45 minutes, but if you plan accordingly then it’s totally worth it. I love their pan fried crispy noodles and their fried tofu.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian crispy fried noodles, salt and pepper fried tofu, many vegetable dishes.

May mei restaurant is not nice and dishonest. One of my orders was $15.50, but on the receipt they charge me $16.95. They are money-hungry and scam customers. They also charge me extra rice for $3.50, but the menu say $1.20 per person. They lied and write a higher price on their paper receipt. Very dirty, don’t come here to eat because Hong Kong people always lie and take your money

The customer service is very bad. I order a lot of food worth over $75, but the restaurant don’t offer free rice or soup. Other Chinese restaurants have free rice and much friendly service. This young Chinese male waiter yelled at me and ask me to give him $12 tip, very rude. He does not welcome me and say don’t come again next time because I don’t give him the tip that he want. It’s the customer’s decision, I cannot believe this restaurant. Other restaurants never argue with me for tips. Never eat at this place again

3 of us came for lunch and ordered 5 dishes. One of the orders were mistakenly taken by the usual neglectful waiter. He used to come back for extra napkins and glass with ice. We ordered minced beef congee. Instead, he served us kankong with sliced beef. I told him it was not our order. He insisted but I said no. He got mad & didn’t serve the correct order. When he passed by, he stumped hard one og the chairs on the floor. It took us very long to get our bill that I had to call the telephone 2 times. When we got the bill from another waiter, it a long time for someone to get our payment bcoz the waiter assigned to us never came back. Food is good but this one waiter sucks.

Food is good but charging $1 fee for using credit card is questionable ?. Our bill is close to $60 and the waiter said $1 fee will be added to total, which is abnormal and annoying.
