This place has been here for so long. It definitely stands out among all the Asian restaurants. It’s got that old diner feel inside. My dad and I used to pickup their pot pies by the dozen and just keep them in the freezer. My first time actually dining inside haha. The staff are super nice and welcoming. Nothing beats having one of their fresh pot pies. I had the dinner plate with and extra pot pie…I could’ve done without the extra, but I loved it.

Went in last night with my wife and kid, after we had gotten our pot pie dinners, we found them to be cold. After we informed our waitress, some other woman came out with a meat thermometer, poking my pie, showing a temp of 122, after i informed her that the pie should have an internel temp of at least 160, she told me i was wrong because then id be "burning myself."I wasnt trying to get one over on a sub par pot pie, with soggy crust, instant potatoes all drowned in cold gravy you can tell was made with a powder mix, with canned green beans.I didnt understand this womans point on coming out from the kitchen with a meat thermometer just to oppose my opinion on cold food

I was staying at a friends house and asked if any of his local places did proper wholesome food and he recommended here! He also said it was family run, which a major plus for me, as I like to support such places if I can.We went along and after a fun chat with the waitress, placed our orders. We had soup and salad for starters, with absolutely delicious bread!Then we had Beef Pot Pie, with mashed potato, greens and thick gravy (Just like back in the UK). I have to say, it was delicious and I never thought I'd be able to have a pie and gravy in the states, like back home.This was all finished with ice-cream and I have to say the Mint choc chip reminded me of the equivalent Viennetta from home. The taste and texture, identical, which was good.Overall, the experience was excellent and the food hit the mark perfectly. I wish we had a similar place back in the UK near me.

The Chicken Pot Pie is definitely the reason to get through the door. Then their homemade bread melts in your mouth wonderfully. An over all pleasant mom and pop American cuisine experience.Our unexpected 25 top party an hour before closing did put a strain on the waiters, chef and cooks.$550 tab was not a big jump in the bank for all of us.Nick

Wow such a rise in prices. A family pack of for pies and 4 sides used to be $27 and now it's $45. Great pies though and now they offer tamales. Although they were out of tamales.Parking: Busy parking lot with a lot of businesses which makes it hard to find a spot near the restaurant.Kid-friendliness: Yes

Like just about everyone else, I first have to mention the pot pies...The crust is buttery and the perfect accompaniment to the chicken or beef filling. The meats are cut to just the right size and the sauce in the filling is not too thick or thin.The chicken pies do not include vegetables, so I add some myself on the side. The beef pies do include vegetables.I have also tried the fruit pies, apple and pumpkin (in season) which are homemade, like the savory pies.The restaurant is more of a casual diner, with a counter and stools and booths along the wall.The menu has many other items, but I have never gotten past the pies. The bread is also great.Parking: The parking lot is shared with an Aldi, CVS and other restaurants. Depending on the time of day/year parking may be a little harder to find, but you will be able to park close by.
