We were very thankful that James was able to accommodate us in a relatively short amount of time before our event AKA 8 Sundays away. The tasting included petit fours (small desserts), macaroons, ice cream, and wedding cakes; all of which hit the Asian-palate of "not too sweet" nail on the head. James was patient with us during the tasting and helped us whittle down options by first having us group things based on dislike, like, and love then having us choose from the loved section. We were amazed with his ice cream including the flavors and combinations! The wedding cakes were solid and he made it easy for us to decide which size cakes to choose for the amount of people at the wedding. In the end, we decided to have an ice cream bar, boba bar, and wedding cake for our special day. At the wedding reception, James and his team did a spectacular job!! They had their two bar booths set up and the wedding cake. The boba bar was an instant hit- we heard from so many of our guests of how much they loved the boba. The ice cream bar was also great. We had asked for King Durian as one of our four flavors, and it was the first to run out! James made sure we got to taste the boba (jasmine green tea with cheese foam and assam black milk tea with boba, of course) and the ice cream push pop (thai tea and kind durian). And we don't want to forget the cake- both the red velvet cake and banana cake were great. James also shared a little video he did for our event on his socials- which was also awesome to see. James and his team did an awesome job and also helped communicate any allergen concerns too. We would definitely recommend him for dessert catering to any of our friends and family for their next event.

We chose to do a boba bar, an ice cream bar, and small desserts on top of having a cake! Mr. & Mrs. Creamery did not disappoint. We had set up a dessert tasting appointment earlier in the year, and it was delicious! All of their flavors, from their ice creams and sorbets to their small desserts, were so tasty - it was hard to narrow down our flavor choices. On the actual day, the entire set-up was so gorgeous. Mr. & Mrs. Creamery brought their own boba bar and ice cream bar set up, and also brought decor for the dessert table. James was sure to ask about the colors and the "look" we were going for to make sure that the dessert table matched with our overall theme. Everything on the day-of was just perfect. The boba bar was a huge hit! We got to choose a his & hers flavor, and they even put a heart straw in the hers drink. Our dessert table was so gorgeous, and also a huge hit - all of our guests said the small desserts were amazing. We chose to do a 3-tier wedding cake, and we actually got to split the cake into two of our favorite flavors from the tasting (our guests loved both of them!). The Mr. & Mrs. Creamery team took care of their own set-up and strike at the end of the night. We would definitely work with them again for any future events. Overall, we had such a positive experience working with them, and they are excellent at what they do!

We were looking for specialty desserts and ice cream, and found James as a preferred vendor + thru social media. We did a tasting a year prior, and it was wonderful! My husband and I enjoyed James' presentation and how he caters to each individual client's preferences. Our wedding day went by so fast, and I wished we were able to eat more of our desserts. This place did such a good job on our wedding. They made an outstandingly beautiful and tasty cake with 2 weeks notice. They even added gold leaf, which was a central theme of the wedding, because I mined all the gold we used to make our rings. They also offered a mini version of our cake for our 1st anniversary (for free). I just picked up our free anniversary cake and it looks the same as before. I recommend this place to anyone.

We absolutely loved all of the options, the flavors and the push pop ice cream! We didn't even bother trying any other places because we knew this was the one. Fast forward to the day of our wedding, James' dessert table display was absolutely beautiful! Our cake design was exactly what I had envisioned and everything was so delicious! All of our guests raved about the desserts and there was a constant line for the ice cream! Not only was it all delicious, but James was awesome to work with. When we got engaged in 2018, one of the earliest vendors we booked was MM Creamery. My now-husband and I have a big sweet tooth so we were especially excited to book our wedding desserts. We booked a tasting session with James in 2019 and we loved the creative cake and ice cream flavors so we went ahead and booked them for our 2020 wedding. Once the pandemic started, we had to postpone our wedding several times and James was very accommodating to transfer everything over to our new dates. In the meantime, we also did get a chance to help support his business during his "Be Safe Bake Sale" and loved being able to purchase pints of his ice cream and other yummy creations like tofu cheesecake :) Finally it seemed like our wedding was gonna be able to happen in February 2022. I saw on MM Creamery's Instagram that they started offering boba bar services! Despite not being able to taste any of the tea (no tasting offered at this time for the boba bar), we trusted James and jumped into adding it onto our wedding package. Fast forward to our wedding day, James told us there would be 2 members from his team coming to serve the boba bar and ice cream, so we were so pleasantly surprised to see the man himself stop by! James came by to personally deliver our his/hers boba cups to us and even took a picture with me haha! As for his assistants, they were excellent! Very efficient and professional, and they were also able to place our custom stickers onto each boba cup as we requested :) As for the desserts themselves, wow everything was such a hit! The guests loved all the delicious desserts that pretty much everything was "sold out" since it was so popular! We are extremely happy with the services provided by MM Creamery and would definitely recommend them. They provided a lot of complimentary little touches that really took it to the next level for us: the heart-shaped boba straws, the adorable signs and decor for the boba/ice cream booths, cake cutting knife & server, and dry ice for the dreamy fog during our cake cutting! All in all, it was the taste and quality of James' desserts that caught our eye, but it is the excellent service and attention to detail that really make him and his team stand out above the rest.

3/5 STARS Order: Tofu flower cheesecake (original flavor) My dad picked up one of their original tofu cheesecakes to try. Honestly, it wasnt all that good. It wasnt bad either though. In my opinion, the texture of the cheesecake is much too soft, even after sitting overnight in the fridge (and a couple of days thereafter as we slowly finished it). The taste of the filling is just alright, light tofu flavor, somewhat pudding-y texture rather than fluffy yet rich as a normal cheesecake would (perhaps the texture is kind of like a fluffy-ish pudding?). It also came with ginger syrup on the side, which paired well with the cheesecake (like dou hua right?);I thought it was good. One thing that I found unpleasant though was the graham crust. It is way too densely packed and you really have to press down just to cut a piece off. A proper crust should hold its shape but still be crumbly. Additionally, since the crust is kind of thick, the graham flavor overpowers the cheesecake flavor, especially since the tofu flavor is already quite light. It does add a nice contrast of texture since the filling is too soft, but overall I thought the final product is just alright. Not something I would pay premium price for, certainly not for something this small. Reading other reviews, the owners seem nice and other people like the product so thats good. I didn't get to try any of their other flavors, but unfortunately I don't think I'm convinced that this is something I'd like to try again :(

I had the pleasure of trying their desserts several years back at a friend's wedding, and didn't realize that they moved their location to Arcadia until recently! I saw a few posts via Instagram that they were doing bake sales during this Covid period since all the weddings and events had been postponed this year, so luckily we got to order from their bake sale for my daughters birthday. It was last month when venue spaces were opening up, so they were not only busy with the bake sale but also packing in the weekend with the postponed events from last year. I called the number listed on Yelp and was able to speak to James right away and asked him if I would be able to place a bake sale order online for Friday pick up since I didn't see online availability for that day. He was so nice and assured me that it would be no problem--they were just trying to figure out scheduling to accommodate the bake sale on top of the rescheduled events. On the day of the pick up, everything was ready. He had the petit cake in the box and the ice creams packed in a bag for us to go. He even gave my little one a popsicle as a birthday gift. We had the desserts the next day during lunch, and we all thoroughly enjoyed the cake and the ice creams. Can't wait to order from them again for an event!

I first tried their tofu flower cheesecake back when they were doing a collaboration with Teatitude in Diamond Bar. I can't tell you how excited I was to finally try the unique dessert that had been sweeping my social media! I actually went back to Teatitude multiple times just for the mini tofu flower cheesecakes, as it was more convenient than the ordering/ pickup process from Mr and Mrs Creamery. Sadly, it looks like that particular collab is over with now. Anyways, because it's made with tofu instead of just cream cheese, the dessert is light and airy, and lightly sweetened. It had a distinct tofu-like texture, which paired perfectly with the sturdier graham cracker crust and sweet ginger syrup that it comes with. I really love their OG tofu flower cheesecake, but they do offer an assortment of other flavors on rotation, so I finally ordered one of the other flavors directly from MM Creamery recently - strawberry guava. It was good, but my favorite is still hands down the OG tofu flower flavor. There are a couple of other flavors I would eventually like to try though, like pandan and pistachio. The reason I haven't ordered from Mr and Mrs Creamery directly before a few weeks ago is that you have to order online ahead of time and select a scheduled pickup time on their limited calendar availability. The earliest pickup time is 3 pm, which unfortunately doesn't usually work with my calendar. Otherwise I would definitely order their tofu cheesecakes more often!

I believe their menu changes every couple weeks so make sure you get it before it's gone! PANDAN COCONUT SAGO TOFU CHEESECAKE $15: I looooooved the sago part. I'm also a s***** for pandan, so of course I had to get this. It was delicious and not too sweet, melt-in-your-mouth feel. Gold flecks too, so fancy. IRISH COFFEE TOFU CHEESECAKE $18: and of course I love coffee flavored anything! Again, not too sweet but if I had to pick, I think I like the pandan flavor more. Easy 5 stars, it was easy to order online and pick-up. Dessert was great and unbelievable there's tofu in it. Very Happy bellies :) Still not convinced? I was introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Creamery through my sister who, like me, enjoys trying a lot of the different offerings. Since then, I have regularly gone back to try new things on their menu. Mr. and Mrs. Creamery is known for their tofu cheesecake, which may sound weird, but is a lot less sweet, rich, and thick compared to the typical cheesecake (aside from Japanese cheesecake, of course). Even though it is made with tofu, it is NOT vegan as it also contains cream cheese. The flavors are generally Asian-inspired, such as pandan coconut sago; black sesame; matcha. I honestly have not had any flavors that I didn't like. There seems to be regular changes in the menu so check back for new flavors! One of my faves is the strawberry yakult. I've also tried a few ice cream and cookies, which are good too! I've only tried the pistachio ice cream, sea salt chocolate chip cookies, and pandan cookies so far. I'm excited to try more ice cream flavors, like oatmilk strawberry, white rabbit condensed milk... who cares if I'm lactose :) I recommend checking the menu early and putting in your online order on exploretock. Pickup is very simple and quick - you pick a day and time slot and show up! It can be a bit confusing when you get there because it's literally a locked, white gate. You'll see the sign on the wall to confirm you're in the right place.

Such a hidden gem, recently gaining popularity from social media! This place is right across from the CVS parking lot and the auto body shop. I came here to pick up my 3 tofu cheesecake 10 minutes earlier than my appointment time, and was able to pick up my order smoothly and covid-safely. I got the matcha, black sesame, and their signature tofu flower cheesecake. All 3 were appealing to me so I decided to order all of them to try. I looooooved the texture of the cheesecake, and glad that it wasn't too sweet at all! Wasn't sure if it was just my order, but the crust was a bit too soggy at the bottom, making it harder to cut and pick up from the container. Otherwise, it was yummy!

I'll admit when I first heard of a Tofu Cheesecake, I didn't have high expectations. While I do enjoy cheesecake and tofu, separately of course, I didn't think the combined dessert would be good but Mr. and Mrs. Creamery proved me wrong. I wasn't the one who ordered the cheesecake for my picnic so I'm not sure how the ordering system works. My friend picked up the Hojicha and Black Sesame and wow was I impressed! The cheesecake was light and airy from the tofu without all the extra calories of cream cheese. The crust was very crunchy and lightly sweet. I really liked how the cheesecake was the right amount of sweetness and didn't feel too heavy. I definitely want to be back and try more flavors!

I came here to pick up my 3 tofu cheesecake 10 minutes earlier than my appointment time, and was able to pick up my order smoothly and covid-safely. I got the matcha, black sesame, and their signature tofu flower cheesecake. All 3 were appealing to me so I decided to order all of them to try. I looooooved the texture of the cheesecake, and glad that it wasn't too sweet at all! Wasn't sure if it was just my order, but the crust was a bit too soggy at the bottom, making it harder to cut and pick up from the container. Otherwise, it was yummy!
I'll admit when I first heard of a Tofu Cheesecake, I didn't have high expectations. While I do enjoy cheesecake and tofu, separately of course, I didn't think the combined dessert would be good but Mr. and Mrs. Creamery proved me wrong. I wasn't the one who ordered the cheesecake for my picnic so I'm not sure how the ordering system works. My friend picked up the Hojicha and Black Sesame and wow was I impressed! The cheesecake was light and airy from the tofu without all the extra calories of cream cheese. The crust was very crunchy and lightly sweet. I really liked how the cheesecake was the right amount of sweetness and didn't feel too heavy. I definitely want to be back and try more flavors!
Amazing desserts!!! We got the tofu cheese cake and the yuzu merengue pie. James said (other than the best selling tofu cheese came) they update their desserts every two weeks on Sundays. Everything was amazing. We look forward to ordering more on Tock. Support your local small business!!
