Food is good. However, servers are extremely rude. They ignored us every time when we called them. We told them no wasabi in sushi. But they still added wasabi in it. So i didn’t give any tip at the end, It really made me unhappy. We were chased by a waiter when we leaving, to give them tips. and I said no cuz I didn’t get a good service. That guy said you need to, because it’s America. Then I denied him again. And he threatened us: “if you don’t give tips, don’t come here next time. I have right to reject you.”His disrespect really pissed me off, and I came back the restaurant to find their manager, but there’s actually no manager in this restaurant. That’s why waiters are rude there , cuz no one supervises.

I came to eat sushi and left with food poisoning… seems like the quality is declining but we ordered the house salad, edamame, hirame, mixed sashimi, blue fin toro roll and the hamachi, and as soon as I got home, my stomach started to hurt I got really bad cramps, and started to throw up. It was a rough night of food poisoning and throwing up and food coming out of both ends. One other person in the group didn’t feel well and their stomach hit as soon as we left as well. Just avoid this place if you don’t wanna spend hours in the bathroom dry heaving

Pleasant surprise! Hadn't expected to come here, but here we were. Clean, modern, nice ambience. Helpful service. We ordered the Chirashi bowl, a deluxe Chirashi bowl, and an unagi bowl. Chirashi bowls had very good quality fish. My wife was impressed with the sushi rice that wasn't overpowering with vinegar. Our grandson's unagi bowl came with soup, salad, mixed tempura, and two large eel filets. A huge meal, much of which got taken home. Hidden gem!

The basins are so beautifully arranged that everyone wants to eat them when they see them. The fish is very fresh.

They let a customer bring their non service dog into a booth table. The dog was jumping on the table and seats. They moved the party to another table because the owners complained it was too close to the entrance. The staff did not clean the table or seats that the dog was all over.

The Worst services among all Japanese restaurants in la area. Well, this place does not run by Japanese owner, so no one train the waiters to be gentle and polite to respond customer’s question.Food and price are both average, 4 adult spends almost $300 without beverages. Their service ruins the entire dinner, none of my friends are happy to walk out the place. Not recommended, and do Not trust those comments on 小红书.

Woohoo! I found another super oishii sushi spot! We ordered all my favorites! The ikura was the bestest! So juicy and dashi umami! The ankimo 4/5, dragon super 5/5, salmon ikura bowl 5/5, grilled squid 4/5, blue crab roll 4/5, baked green mussels 3/5, oysters 4/5, salmon toro, and green tea 3/5....The ambiance is nice with plenty of walking space, and simple wall decos. The service was ok. Will be back for ikura!

I got the deluxe sashimi dinner ($50) and it was average. I was running around town at 7pm to pick up sashimi from the markets, but the selection was slim so I gave Opus a try. The quality was average, I was expecting fattier pieces for the price, but not a single piece of belly. It came with about 18 pieces of fish, 3 salmon, 5 tuna, 4 yellowtail?, 3 fluke?, cup of ikura, 1 amaebi, 2 uni, and I think 2 small scoops of spicy scallop and spicy tuna. I can't say I enjoyed the spicy scoops, it seems like filler in a sashimi mix... The slices of fish were averagely thin. I probably won't return, nothing was outstanding and I didn't get the head of my amaebi!

Seafood are Fresh and price is $$ acceptable. But when I ordered lamb, sometime the meat came out in pieces, quality like the kind a butcher with throwaway. They turned into tinny pieces when I put them inside the hot pot. It happened again, and the lamb meat became so fat, I complained to the male server, he said ,” you complained about it last time.”Wow! Interesting. When the quality is declining, as a longtime customer for years supporting the restaurant, of course I can see the difference! This is unsettling. Then I replaced it to Salmon , the cut are thinner and thinner.I should have took pictures so everyone can see the difference.

Was a good all around sushi place forsure. Got the sashimi dinner and other things. Not much to say about it. They are thick cut sashimi pieces though but are pretty good nonetheless. $value is pretty average for sushi in LA.

My family and I have been coming here for years and we love it. All the fish is fresh and high quality. The service is fast and attentive. When I'm not dining in, I often pick up a toro roll or salmon ikura bowl for lunch. It's definitely a go-to spot for me.Thanks Opus Sushi!

Tucked away in a plaza in Arcadia is this slightly more pricy sushi spot that did not disappoint! What we ordered:1. Whatever Roll: The roll was definitely not whatever but delicious! The tempura bits added a nice crunchy texture to contrast the tuna on top of the roll. Despite this place being pricier, the portions were pretty big and the roll tasted really good!2. BSC Roll: I have had baked scallop rolls at other places, but this one is definitely one of the better ones. The scallops were cooked perfectly and were slightly crunchy on the outside which added a nice bit of smokiness and texture. The dish came with cooked onions (which I usually don't eat but these were sweet in a good way) and mushrooms, both of which complimented the sushi and scallops nicely. Definitely a really delicious baked roll!Overall a great experience and would definitely come back to check out the other options on the menu!

I've been coming here since pre-pandemic, and the quality is still great! A bit pricey but the quality is good. Service varies, as there have been times staff have been attentive, and other times where they are not (even when it is not busy). Definitely worth a try when you're craving sushi!!Parking: The restaurant is in a small shopping center and parking can be limited.
