Well first the name of this place changed to Don Ricardo's bar and grill.....but the food and customer service was excellent.

It is now known as Don Ricardos and though I can't compare to Paco's, I will say we had the steak fajitas and they were great. Service was great and the drinks are pretty good too.

The waitress seemed really put out and was not attentive. We had to keep walking up to the front and look for service. The food was decent but it took an hour to finally get it.

Outside sign is still old restaurant, but it is new management took over. I am not the person usually write reviews, but I just wanted to say Food wasn’t good at all and not worth the price. Not tasteful Nacho is like $17. I have been to so many Mexican restaurants top level to fast food. Just go to pollo loco their food is 100% better quality and price compare to what I experienced.

I revisited today following an absence of many months. Though a sign outside says Paco's the menus now reference the name Roberto. I asked.and was told it has been under new ownership for two months. The enchilada was quite good although the sauce was dry. The tamale was not very good because the masa had an unusual flavor that wasn't corn. The rice was dry and sub par but beans were good. The chips were delicious and the beans which accompanied the chips were delicious. They also now serve the food on the types of white plates you might find at Asian restaurants. They should return to using Mexican styled plates.

The owners have changed. You use to be able to go in order and have your food in under 10 minutes. Our last trip literally took over an hour to cook the food. When we got the food it was bad.

Paco's is no more. This place is now Don Ricardo's Bar and Grill. Sadly, under the new owner the quality has gone down and the prices have gone up. The service was very lacking. I had to ask multiple times to refill my drink, chips and salsa. The waiter walked by multiple times looking at the empty drinks on the table, 15 minutes later the refills finally came. The food was like the service, taking forever to arrive. We waited over an hour after we ordered the food, once it arrived, it was lacking. The quality was not up to par. The rice tasted like it was frozen and microwaved. The beans were dry and bland. My enchiladas were tasteless. It was not worth the wait. I saw at least three tables get up and leave before I got my food. I should have been one of them. I will not be returning.

Kind staff, authentic food, old school design, inexpensive. Chips, salsa & delicious bean/cheese dip served before meal. Lots of folks were having Marguerita’s so I’m guessing they’re good too! Busy at lunchtime. So good I’ll definitely come back! Give yourself ample time - service can be a bit slow at lunchtime. Verify menu items cuz there are several discrepancies. Some items say “comes with rice & beans” but don’t.

Same as it was 20+ years ago. Same tables, decor, even some of the employees. All joking aside, this is a neat little place for family meals. Was a usual goto when I lived in Arcadia. Went back to Arcadia to see my in-laws and we decided to go to Paco's ...and glad we did. Still consistently good dishes for everyone at my table, even the vegan in our group was shocked they now have a vegan section in the menu. Also loved the addition of the complimentary bean dip along with the fresh salsa and chips. Good portions for the price. I recommend the Burrito Grande..it'll feed at least two.

Vegetarian options: Paco's has vegan choice on the menu!

I’ve driven by this place countless times. Finally stopped in for dinner and the food, service and overall experience were amazing. Everything about this place is “First-Class!” Be sure and try this spot the next time you’re in Arcadia. Highly recommend!

I got the 2 taco combination plate and I was stuffed when I left. Heft portions and quick service. Definitely going back!

I went here twice, both times I ordered to go and they were very accommodating. The first day (Mon 8/8) I had a taco salad, which was built like a tostada and it was delicious. The second time (Thur 8/11) I had a taco/tamale combo with refried beans and rice. Both meals were delicious, the price was right.

Salsa was great. Unfortunately that was the highlight of the experience. The food wasn’t bad, but it was far from Mexican food. The chicken and beef tacos had little to no seasoning and my sister’s fajitas were cooked in soy sauce. The entire meal was basically Asian/Mexican fusion. If we were expecting it it would have been fine, but when the name of the restaurant literally has “Mexican” in it…we expected better.

Paco’s Mexican Restaurant food is an Arcadia treasure’. The menu is extensive and reasonable Waiters have been working there for over 20 years. The food is the very freshest and the Margaritas Mix are so refreshing. There is always parking and I love their outside Patio area. Family-owned and always delicious!!!

I nearly gave Paco's four stars as the food on its own wasn't amazing, and I wish the drinks were cheaper, but the service was stellar - warm, attentive, and accommodating. The decor also kicks Pacos into the five star tier. It's a nice restaurant to have close by. Thanks, Pacos!
