The best breakfast I've had in a while. Super fresh and tasty. Super friendly staff, convenient location, street parking and parking lot in the back. Lots of really delicious stuff to choose from. And don't get me started on their pastries! It's an experience of it own. Great coffee. Non-dairy milk variety is available. Reasonable prices. Loved it!

We have been enjoying the sandwiches and baked goods at Poppy Cake for quite awhile. We ordered some Brioche buns and a Dutch apple pie at Thanksgiving and they were wonderful. But this week I stopped by and saw their gingerbread cake. Thought I would try it. Wow! Best gingerbread cake ever. I will be back for more. The other wonderful thing about Poppy Cake is they don't cook with Barley flour. A member of my family is allergic to barley and some of the other bakeries around use barley flour. We avoid those places. Thank you Poppy Cake for your great and freshly made goodies!!

This place is amazing; truly a hidden gem!! It's a hole in the wall place but it packs some amazing food and drinks! We love the Italian sandwich and our all time favorite thing to get is the iced mocha latte. This is the better of the two Poppy Cake locations in my mind because the Arcadia one has an espresso machine while the Sierra Madre one doesn't.

The espresso bar is good. Some of the pastries such as the blueberry muffin and the gluten free banana muffins are excellent. We also like the chocolate chip cookies and the sugar cookies.

Salmon toast was heavenly. A little pricey but guess I'll blame the inflation. Will come back

Pastries and sandwiches are absolutely delicious and service is just as good! They also have dog treats for purchase which is a nice touch. My only gripe is that the morning bun is only available during the week! Lol

Wonderful little shop. I recommend the lemon rosemary boule. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Pretty expensive: $3 cookies, $4 muffins...

I was in the area and wanted some baked goods and decided to give this place a try. It's a cute little shop, just a grab and go type of place with a limited amount of baked items. It's located across the McDonald's on Foothill, with a small parking lot in the back. Upon arrival, the gentleman working behind the counter just looked mad and didn't bother to greet me. No hi or good morning. He kept himself busy on the cash register. Maybe something was wrong with it and he was trying to fix it? I don't know, but he just gave off negative vibes. I was standing there for a while before he finally acknowledged me and asked what he could get for me. I ordered almost one of everything and a mocha latte. It took quite a while for him to make my drink and he was disrupted with a phone call, so a line started forming out the door waiting for him. He was obviously on his own, so that's tough, but it's hard to get sympathy when he was acting the way he was. Other than the poor customer service, the pastries were delightful, and my mocha latte was good. The morning bun was my favorite. It was like a cinnamon roll, but without the icing, and churro style (cinnamon & sugar coated). I'll have to try the breads next time I stop by!

Next level pastries and great coffee. The Apple Bear Claw is one of the most perfectly crafted, delicious baked goods I've ever tasted.

I started ordering the orange danish and it was sooo good, flaky, not too sweet, generous proportion and best of all super fresh. It got me hooked that I went back for more. Sadly they don't make orange but they have strawberry danish now. I'm still hooked and I'll stop by twice a week to get my treat. The Sierra madre brunch has the best quiche ever. I bought the Ham & Gruyère and the Mushrooms & Spinach. It's fluffy egg goodness!

Love the morning buns. Bread is perfect

Great smaller version of the Poppy cake baking company in Arcadia a stone throws from their sierra Madre main bakery. Really great place to stop by for a quick sandwich available in half and whole on their different fresh breads. The Burratta tomato with pesto on a baguette is great! Super fresh bread and ingredients at really reasonable prices.
