Awesome place to get some great tasting ramen! The restaurant was nicely decorated, the staff extremely friendly and of course, the food tasted great. We had the veggie king ramen with an egg add on and spice level 3. Very good. I would definitely add a higher spice next time I go. They have a cool custom menu that you fill out while waiting in line to stream line the process. Big fan of the organization! Highly recommend.

Popular ramen spot with interesting ramen options. Their tonkotsu seems popular, and they have cool options like a pesto broth ramen (tasted very Italian) if youre feeling experimental. I got their veggie ramen; the toppings were strange (spinach/shiitake/hasbrowns) but the broth and noodles were great. Loved the ability to customize (spice, salt, garlic levels and noodle firmness). Id suggest asking for the hashbrowns on the side if you get the veggie option. Great service, and nice location.

This is a workplace favorite. It’s usually not busy during lunch, but come on a weekend and there may be a wait. We went recently with a group of 10+ and they accommodated easily. The Green King and Black King are very tasty. The service is attentive as well. Try this place out!

This place definitely lived up to the hype. I was so excited when my boyfriend took me here. We came here on a Monday after their midday lunch closure. I love that you are able to customize so much of your menu. Their menu is fairly small and simple. Luckily our wait was roughly 10 minutes.I had opted for the red king (spicy), with level 2 spicy and extra garlic. Everything else was chef recommended. I wish I had opted for the thick noodles. I think thats the only thing I would change differently for my next visit. The broth was EXTREMELY flavorful and rich. I probably could've opted for a spicier level as well. Their egg was poached perfectly and marinated well. The chasiu was tender and melted like butter. We opted for the chicken karaage and I didn't care too much for it. It was crispy and tossed in a soy garlic marinated. It reminded me of korean fried chicken.Service was limited but quick. We probably waited 5 minutes upon sitting down before we received our food. When youre done, you pay your bill at the entrance. I have to say this was hands down, my favorite ramen spot now and I cannot wait to return.

We have always been curious about why there's such a long line every time we come to the mall so today we decided to find out. We lined up about 30 minutes before opening and thank goodness we did because 5 minutes later, there was a huge line again. About 10 minutes before opening, a staff came out to hand us some papers to choose our ramen. Now everything uses the same broth and spice is only added if you circle that one on the paper, so as soon as we were sat down, the ramen came out instantly as everything was already prepped and just had to be put in a bowl. No wait at all. I think it's a great perk that you can customize your ramen just how you want it. Spice level, noodle thickness, amount of fat, toppings, etc. I recommend at least standard to max amount of oil so give your ramen extra flavor. The fattiness just made it so flavorful. The meat isn't as tender as some places I go to, but it's still good. The egg also got a chance to soak up a lot of flavor. I chose the spicier version, and I recommend mixing it up really good before digging in. I got it and went in immediately, which caused it to taste exactly the same as my fiancé's. It was only after mixing that I tasted the strong difference. Overall I really liked the ramen and how nice the atmosphere is, but if the line is longer than 30 minutes, I would probably skip and come back another time just because I don't like waiting when I'm super hungry.

I met up with friends to eat here and was intrigued to try it because of the reviews. Apparently there could be a wait, so we got there around 11:30 AM and was seated within 45 minutes. They give you a paper to fill out and customize what kind of ramen you want, how much salt, garlic, etc. you are able to just check a box that says "Chef's recommendations" as well if you're not too sure about changing up the ramen.I did like the seating that was set up in the restaurant. They had long wooden tables with benches and on either side, and in the middle, they had chopsticks, bean sprouts, sesame, seeds, tissues. I felt like it was an easy large gathering set up. It was annoying that they just had boxes of tissues and not actual napkins. You can ask for a bib if you'd like too.My boyfriend and I got different types of ramen. I got the Original King with chasu (sliced pork loin), and normal thick noodles at a level 1 spicy. He got the Red King with heavy garlic, chasu, normal thick noodles, and a level 7 spice. Level one spice was not spicy at all so next time I would go up to 3 or 4. my boyfriend likes to eat level 10 Indian spice foods, and he said the level seven was not spicy at all. So if you like really spicy food, I suggest you go up to level 10.The ramen was alright. I would go back and change the richness to heavy. we both got the broth at a normal level and felt that it was too watery. We like our broth a little more thicker. The chasu was okay. we both agreed that we should have gotten the pork belly. The chasu didn't have much flavor to it however, my friend got the pork belly and it was bursting with flavor. The red king comes with a big ball of meat in the middle. My boyfriend liked the addition to it however when the meatball crumbles, all of it goes down to the bottom of the broth, the meatball added a sort of texture and heaviness to the broth. I thought the ramen was a little expensive they charge to add egg, seaweed, etc. To the ramen. It doesn't come with it already however, the egg was cooked to perfection. I would come back to try again with some changes to my options.

I came here on a Thursday afternoon with only one other party line and was seated promptly. I went with the chef's recommendations for the black king ramen and it was very fulfilling and a more unique bowl of ramen which is exactly what I wanted from his establishment. While I would have liked to try the karaage and gyoza, I would have been too full, so possibly next time. The squid ink in the broth was not over powering and had a wonderful seafood/ pork broth that kept me going for more. I love the minced pork which gets entangled in all of the noodles for a great slurp. Next time I'll try the red king or the green king.

I've noticed reviews mentioning a constant wait at Ramen Nagi, and I often see the line when I'm at the mall. However, on the day I decided to try it, we were fortunate to get in right away. It was my first visit, so I assumed this was the norm, not realizing the usual wait others experience. One interesting observation I've made is that whenever I select my bowl of ramen, my boyfriend's choice always seems to be tastier. I could eat this every day. We complemented our meal with some chicken karaage, which, to my taste, leaned a bit on the sweet side. I couldn't help but think it would have been even better if it had a more savory touch.

This place has been hyped since opening in the Santa Anita shopping center. I finally had a chance to try this place out on a Monday night.Staff is super friendly. The person assisting with filling out order sheets was very helpful in explaining what the types of ramen.I ordered the green ramen which is their basil and olive oil tonkotsu. It tasted like an Italian fusion dish. My +1 got the original tonkotsu and we shared the karaage. Karaage was still hot and soaked in oil. My soup was super rich and heavy. All-in-all, the food was good with some things that they could do to improve.

First off, WOW. This is some really good ramen. I actually heard about this place a couple months ago and I haven't had a chance to go there until now. I got there around 11:45 AM on a Monday and there was about five or six groups of people before me. The line actually moved really quickly, I was seated within 20 minutes. while you're in line a personal go around and give you a sheet of paper so you can mark down the Ramen you want and any sides and anything else that you want so when you're seated they can bring you your order fairly quickly I ordered the ramen the way the chef recommended it along with the gyoza, both were fantastic. The Ramen broth is very rich and light at the same time and the gyoza bottoms were perfectly crisp. It truly was a fantastic combination. The restaurant is right next to Wushiland on the first floor. Plenty of parking since it's at the mall.

4 starsI knew of this place early on, but only just had the time to try it. I came with my mom and I was originally afraid she would dislike it because it would likely be too salty for us. However, we were pleasantly surprised to find that low-sodium was an option! Major bonus points for this ramen spot!We both got similar broths: original tonkatsu broth, low sodium, easy garlic, and chasu. Mom chose thin noodles, while I got thick noodles. I think the thin noodles are best! The broth is thick, porky, and rich. I added 1 spicy for me and that had the perfect amount of spice. I also liked the little pot of bean sprouts on the side along with sesame, chili powder, and pepper. This is good soup! The interior of the restaurant is deceptively spacious and space between tables is less than an arms length, so...it's a little uncomfortable. The menu is limited. And the only thing I didn't like was the chasu. It was just too fatty for me while the lean part was a little too tough...like the striation of the pork was cut on the long side as opposed to short. But I could have gotten a bad slice. I won't know until I go back. And I will be back with my vegan aunt to get her take on the vegan ramen!Like most places nowadays, it is cashless unless you bring exact cash amount. Luckily, I had the cash plus tip, which rounded out beautifully. Highly recommend giving this place a shot.
