I really love old coffee shops my sister-in-law and her parents live in Monterey park.and met a beautiful blonde lady named kristy .plus I play just down the street at dan’s shack every Thursday Friday and Saturday nights. I can’t believe it’s still around.it has cool vibe like going back in time.I’ll have to go again just for old memories ❤️

Service was slow food was not served as ordered. When the club sandwich came back it was on not on toasted bread and the fries were cold. Do not recommend.

Our waitress sorry to say she needs to retire, she looks unkept, she brought out our toast a solid 10 minutes before we got our food, 90%of the food was cold, they use canned peaches, stay away from the gravy that goes on the bisquit,which tasted old, its hard to find a good breakfast around here anymore.

Rod's Grill, come on down if you have time to kill. Rod's Grill, come on down if you enjoy sitting still. Rod's Grill, come on down, even though, it won't be a thrill. Sorry Rod's Grill, I won't be coming back. The food was good, but the service needs a lot of improvement.
Was meeting my friend there . At first I wasn't sure the two waitresses wanted to wait on me . But our waitress turned out to be nice and very good . Food was a little high priced but we'll go back .
Waitress was great. Food just ok. Food preparation needs more attention to detail and proper preparation.

Don't bother going to this place unless you have a lot of time and a fan. Long wait to get seated, long wait to order and 1 hour to get the wrong order. Even took a long time to pay the check. 2 hours plus for breakfast. Definitely will not return.
