Best and authentic roast fish and bullfrog. The price is fair, we five persons order one fish, one bullfrog and one beef and it only costs us 30 bucks per person.
Great food in a lovely atmosphere
i dont want to be at the bauffet. we just respected our host.sashimi was good.the claw chowder was great, it is a clam chowder with a clam in it. love it.
Love the fish here. Best cod dish in town
Great taste but had to fish for fish. The fish was too little.
We ordered their signature grilled fish, it came just as a water boiled one buried under some pepper. Besides the portion did not match the high prize.
I BEG YOU. PLEASE DO NOT EAT HERE.1. They serve boiling "I mean literally boiling with fire in front of you" food on styrofoam plates.2. The price does not match the menu, and they don't tell you until when you get the check. 32.99 fish was 39.993. They don't accept credit card payment, which they don't tell you until you get the check. They only accept cash, Paylpal, or Zelle.4. Horrible customer service; I could not get a simple water refill.
I went to this restaurant completely by accident as I planned to go to the restaurant next door but they ran out of Peking Duck so I came there. The name of the restaurant sounds exactly like MIT in Chinese so it's a funny name that I've noticed for a long time. I was pleasantly surprised that this restaurant has the grilled frogs in copper pot which was something I loved when I were visiting China so of course I had to order it. The biggest reason I took out 2 stars is the fact this is literally the slowest restaurant when it comes to the time between when I ordered and when the food actually came and looking at tables next to us it's not just us. Food literally took more than 45 minutes for all the dishes. The cold dish came after 20 minutes which were just not excusable. Ok now let's talk about food quality. The cold dish of beef recipes is so so as it has a weird smell which I attribute to not freshly made. The grilled spring chicken is literally the expensive version of El Pollo Loco so I do not recommend getting it. The grilled frog in copper pot is actually well made but for about $100 I do expect fresh frogs not previously frozen frog legs. Overall it's a restaurant that I want to like as I finally got to try the copper pot grilled frogs in the US but the restaurant really need better management.
Good food
It's the best Sichuan restaurant I have been after trying numerous ones for 10 years in LA.The food is authentic and made from high-quality ingredients. There's no MSG in it. The price is reasonable too.The owner is very welcoming and sweet.
Restaurantji Recommends
Insanely good, well priced, and run by a lovely couple. Be warned, minimal English so don’t try to complicate orders.
Owner is so nice and informational. Love her recommendations and will def come again
