TLDR: Staff didn't have online order ready and instead of making my order, sells the last boba to walk-in customers and tells me to wait 20 min+ for more.Ordered online, arrived past the pick up time, and order wasn't ready. Instead of making my beverages, they served two walk-in customers and told me they just ran out of boba...They told me I could wait another 20 minutes for more and couldn't give me a refund.I've come here several times and always leave a tip yet this place consistently never has your order ready, staff just sits around until you walk in and make you wait anyway.

What a disappointing experience. The place is empty with no seating. Feels dirty. So many of the menu items were unavailable when we went including BOBA ITSELF... and their main drinks, the maru milk, strawberry slush, etc. Why even remain open if you only have 1 item available?? The worst part is the worker watches you put your order in on the iPad stand and after you've paid for your order he then tells you OOPS WE'RE OUT OF ALMOST EVERYTHING. Such a poorly run business.

This place is ridiculous. We waited 30 minutes for 3 Maru milks… There was only one worker there and 4 people before us, so the worker took 30 minutes to make 7 drinks. We don’t plan to ever come back. Plus, there are no seats so me and my child had to stand for 30 minutes straight.

Drinks can be good when they're made correctly. Be cautious of placing large delivery orders as they will manage to always get at least a few drinks wrong. They really need to put the names of the drinks with the specifications on the cups especially for these large orders as some people will order the same drink with modifications. Really frustrating especially when you specifically opt for delivery bc you're not able to go in person. Will need to look for another boba spot to place the large order with for the future.

First time at this place, will not EVER go back. Ordered the Maru milk which is supposed to have brown sugar , boba etc. when I received the drink, it looked like milk with boba at the bottom. When I tasted the drink, it tasted like milk with no brown sugar flavor at all. I went back into the store and asked if we could get more of the brown sugar flavoring, and was met with an instant attitude. Mind you, we weren't rude. The woman in the store, the only person there, stated that is how it's made and that next time we should ask for more. The thing that really upset me was the condescending tone she had. She didn't even offer to add more of the flavoring or to remake our drink. We weren't asking for a different drink, just more of the flavoring. My sister asked for the managers information and they gave a random number with no answer, which no one ever remedied the situation and they blocked my sisters number. Horrible customer service! Would not recommend. Try another place.
Bad experience today with a poorly trained employee. Basically received a cup of milk with the tiniest hint of matcha, and a few drops of mango syrup with tons of ice and water. We had to ask her to blend the slush more because it had chunks of ice and could not travel up the straw. She re-blended with water but then it was just drinking slushy water with a hint of fruit syrup. Just why? Inedible and tossed it. Anyone could make 100% better at home with minimal effort The owner or franchisee of this location should start paying more attention. The store is sitting empty and dead for a reason!Poor management very likely because the (one) employee always seem sad and somewhat dejected ? must be lonely working this dead boba shop.

I had no idea this Tea Maru location was here right by the 24-hour fitness here in Arcadia.I have been to the other location out in San Gabriel but I had purchased a Groupon deal that ended up only being for Arcadia only so I had no other choice. The team members here were really friendly and suggested a few different drinks to me that I did't normally order. They took the time to go through the menu with me. Their mango jasmine with jelly is really great on a hot day and it's very refreshing. They're primarily known for their handmade boba at the store. At the San Gabriel location sometimes you're able to see them make boba out of their machine and it's always fun to watch.The store is pretty big and it felt really spacious. Great boba place to check out especially if you're in the Arcadia/Monrovia area.The drinks here are really good. There is parking in the structure behind the building and if you are lucky there's sometimes street parking right outside the store.
