Quality food and service!
I come here to celebrate birthdays for family members. I used to come here for lunch when I worked near by. I don't mind traveling from a little further out because it's definitely worth it. I really enjoy watching the Teppanyaki chefs here. Food is always fresh and delicious.
The location is big, clean and plenty of parking. It wasn’t busy during my visits, the service was good and the lady server stopped by a few times refilling our drinks. The food was good I felt a bit overwhelmed with how everything was served, our chef was a bit quiet compared to the ones next to us or maybe it was just too loud that we couldn’t hear him as much. I ordered the Chicken and shrimp combo but only got like 2 shrimps LOL.
Overall, this was a great choice for my dinner. I was staying at the Hampton Inn across the street so I decided to dine here.
The food & drinks were SUPERB! Everything was great. Thank you Tokyo Wako :-)

Tokyo Wako is the best!
This was my first visit and it was about 4pm so it was very quiet and uncrowded but clean. I ordered the rainbow roll and the chicken fried rice but everything was good and the staff were extremely welcoming and attentive. The rainbow roll was very fresh and the portion was large. The rice was a little heavy on the oil for me but still tasty and perfectly cooked. It was getting busy by the time I left and has been in the same location for over a decade that I'm aware of so they're clearly doing something right.
Dined here as power went out from Eaton Canyon fire. Love this place and felt bad they had to lose all this business from the extended power outage (maybe still going as I type this). Will be back!
Waitress could have been a little more attentive. Cook was great! For the money spent on a dinner there should be more than half a cup of fried rice since you have to pay extra it rice and not that much so you should get a full cup!
I have come to this restaurant many times. My first time was on Opening Day. Ronnie and Sherry, the owners, we exceedingiy nice, and love this place.

Max, our chef, was brilliant. Food was cooked perfectly. Every thing was delicious! We come here all of the time and will continue to do so.
Great food and service. Vast menu to choose from. Highly recommend to visit at least once!
I recently dined at Tokyo and unfortunately, my experience was far from enjoyable. Upon arrival, the host was unwelcoming and took far too long to provide us with menus. After a 20-minute wait, we finally received water, despite the restaurant not being busy at all.
To make matters worse, the plates and forks we were given had visible stains and sticky residue, which was quite off-putting. Throughout our meal, we felt neglected, as no one checked on us to see if we needed anything. It seemed like the staff only paid attention to the larger party nearby, leaving us feeling ignored.
As for the food, it was just okay—nothing exceptional that would make me want to return. It's a shame because with better service, this place could have great potential. I never ci e back.
Stopped down after a long drive from Phoenix to Pasadena and this place hit the spot. This Japanese Steakhouse has been around for 30 years and I know why. Excellent service watched fresh fish prepped in front of me and it was delicious. Highly recommend.
