Yay I got the 10% off with yelp check-in discount today!! Service was super fast today and my servers Rosa and Chuy recognized me from last time and Rosa knew what I got, too. Lol. That makes me happy!! Everything was delicious, as usual. Steak pieces were cooked to perfection. The black beans, queso cheese and all the flavors just meld together in harmony deliciousness!! The service was excellent; I had more creamy orange dressing, which was delicious!! It wasn't too packed so it was a peaceful early dinner alone.

I recently had a Celebration of Life event at Villa Catrina, and could not have been happier with the outcome. The Events Coordinator, Genaro, was very easy to work with, providing lots of information/options; they have several packages to choose from, all very reasonable. Getting things in place were also very easy, as we were able to handle things via email. The day of the event, we arrived to find the room ready to go; we even asked if they had a podium for us to use, and they went and got it right away. We did a buffet lunch, and the food was fantastic, especially the chili verde. Our server, Rosa, was fantastic. She was very attentive and made sure we all were comfortable and had what we needed. Rosa was the best! I would absolutely use Villa Catrina for future events, and certainly will be a regular guest for meals.

Poor choice of cocktails, food and ?If you like TexMex, this might be one. Too many places nearby with the same non authentic dishes. I am surprised that they do not offer Mexican wine and consider the Mexican food.

After the 2024 Rose Bowl Half Marathon, our running friends ate brunch in Villa Catrina. My favorite was their birria.
Sunday buffet brunch was absolutely delicious. A very nice assortment of authentic Mexican food. The menudo was clean and very tasty with handmade corn tortillas. There was a very nice assortment of dessert and breakfast dishes, including an omlette station. Best part is that the Mariachi band played great music as they roamed the restaurant.Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian options such as chile relleno, rice and beans, omlettes, and cheese enchiladas, to name a few. A vegetarian can enjoy many of the dishes served.
