I had a rare experience where a nearby establishment had zero beer and a wait time of 30 mins plus!
As a local I knew Arcata Pizza & Deli could cover me. So I ordered and left to enjoy the most delicious tuna melt & affords beer in town.
Grateful for the wait staff. I’ve been a few times and all are such a vibe! They all want you to have the best experience and that speaks volumes.
In other words: I listened to a hostess talk to a 7 y/o today about her first day of school and about how patient her teacher must be to have 27 students.
Your staff cares about the community and it shows. 🫶🏻 That’s priceless.

Philly cheesesteak #3 was really tasty, meat was tender, came out hot and fresh and respectable portion. Pizza only comes in one size which i didn't care for much. It was a little flat, not many pepperoni and a bit greasy. Greasy comes with a pepperoni pizza anywhere so no hate on that really. Seating is limited and a little cramped. Only real complaint but it's not even the restaurants fault but I feel like people should know is everyone in that place stunk. Many people in this county do not believe in deodorant or frequent showers.

delicious! took a little bit of time because they were making it fresh, but the cheese and crust were so good! we got a large pepperoni pizza, 2 veggie pizza slices, and one hawaiian slice.

Impressed! Always hear about how great it is finally made it out to lunch was excellent. Clean, friendly and excellent food. Highly recommend. All the food tastes fresh and made in house. Go here you won’t be disappointed. I had the chicken club. Was huge and excellent.

We were surprised to receive our pizza with all the toppings added after the pizza had been cooked. Ham, pineapple, tomatoes…all cold on top. It wasn’t BAD, but it was unexpected and would have been better if it was all cooked together. Ya know?
Atmosphere was fine, but we could barely hear each other talking over the staff talking to each one another.
As far as staff: they were awesome. Friendly, accommodating, lovely.

I came back after 22 years away for my favorite college hangover food (their tuna melt, I know don't judge I was young with a stomach of steel 😂). It tasted the EXACT SAME WAY as when I was 18 having trudged out from my dorm room. It looks the same, feels the same... Nostalgia at its finest.so friggin yummy!

This place lost us as customers tonight. We ordered the halibut and chips to go. We only live 10 minutes away but the chips and fish were not at all hot when we got home. And that's not even talking about the dryness of the fish, over-frying, and bad chips (although there were an extreme amount of them. This was an expensive meal, too, so we are very disappointed in a place we have been to before and liked.
