Backwood Burritos has ruined me. I just ate a burrito from a different place, and while it was good, it wasn’t BACKWOOD good. Nothing compares to these burritos, seriously. They’re the best in Humboldt, every time.

One of the best burritos I’ve ever had. A little food cart, look carefully you might miss it. We were driving through and so glad we found it.
Best burritos in town. My coworker introduced me to Backwood burritos, had no idea Arcata was home to breakfast burritos this good. Friendly guy who charges a very fair price for a very tasty burrito, a 10/10. Just be sure to follow his Instagram to be able to get updates on when he’s selling!

Visiting from Boise we walked by this burrito stand and on a whim decided to try the Outlaw. It was DELICIOUS. We are so sad we can’t get these in Boise because they are craveworthy. Super freaking creative business model, killer branding and most importantly GOOD FOOD! Thanks for hooking us up with a dank burrito and adding some legit flavor to our visit to Arcata.

Hands down, my favorite breakfast burritos in town. I was so pleased the first time I had one to discover that there weren't any dry spots, every bite was flavorful and well balanced. They're always piping hot. Helpful things to know for specific palates and diets: There is a bit of heat from the peppers that he uses, and a nice smoky flavor. For me this is just a lovely warming experience, but for some it might register as spicy. The Spicy Annie is a vegetarian option, however it is definitely not vegan or dairy free. If you don't have any dietary restrictions, you can't go wrong here!
