Visiting from the central valley. Cafe Phoenix was a nice experience. Our group sat outside it was nice. Great food, I ordered the French toast brioche bread made with vanilla custard, topped with whipped cream, and fresh fruit--strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, peaches, and figs. Also had a 4 person band playing blues, which added to the outdoor seating.

🐛🐛This place was very cute and the options seemed great. This was our first meal of our vacation and we were very dissatisfied! The first thing we saw when we got our meals back to our room was 2 BUGS on top of our lettuce!! I know it is organic but the bugs were a bit more than we bargained for. We got 2 salads and 2 pizzas and 1 drink which came to $140. I wouldn't have minded the price if the food was of quantity. The pizza was not a pizza in my book, too many creative liberties were taken. I can settle for the garlic oil as the sauce but the crust did not constitute as a pizza crust. Plus the cheese was a couple little cubes of feta plus a couple toppings but it was mainly lettuce as the topping for the pizza. The salad dressings, croutons and lemonade were all really good. We wouldn't recommend this place nor will we be returning!

It’s so weird to walk into a place, have the staff look right at you, then ignore you and go back to chat’n with their co-worker. Like actually stop their convo, look at you, and be like, “Eh, you’re not worth greeting.” I stood there awkwardly for a minute before asking if Im supposed to seat myself or order at the counter. Girl said, “menus are in that box right there” and pointed to an empty box. Hahaha. I looked at a menu on a wall, it had hardly any vegetarian options which was odd for an organic place, and the menu didnt seem to match what i had looked up online. Overall it was just a bad vibe. I didnt get the sense they wanted me there so I just left and went to the Vietnamese place next door. Staff there was super welcoming, they had some great vegetarian options. The smoked tofu bahn mi sandwich was fantastic!

including Eve, Izzy, and all members in the food preparations were just a shear delight included in the respectful cleanliness and with the magic touch because the food I had slowed my mind as I realized it was the best meal I had eaten since I arrived to California. I’m really glad I took the time to come in and try it!

Was going to go the Wildflower Cafe and they closed earlier because of short staffing, they recommended Phoenix down the street. Good choice we both had the Classic tofu scramble. Lovely outside patio with a garden to visual enjoy.
