“My new favorite place in Arcata! EXCELLENT Happy Hour drinks and appetizer options, and recently they have also majorly expanded their entree options which was a very pleasant surprise when I went there for the first time in over a month. Love it!“

“One of my favorite haunts currently. This is a wonderful space in the community that ensures safety for its patrons of all backgrounds. there's great karaoke, friendly bartenders and staff, and has a wonderful decor and very comfortable seating.

My only complaint is that the attached miniplex can be too stuffy once too many people are in there, but at least it goes to show that it's a popular place to dance and drink and socialize!“

“Dinner at 511/Pearl Lounge was impressive. We ate in the lounge, the atmosphere was great. Dated ...but hip, very clean and very well maintained. Stylized from the late 90's or early 2000's suits the place well.We started with the scallop special which was perfectly prepared and dressed. The subtle, clean flavors of the sauce celebrated the scallop flavors.I chose the bone in pork chop for my main. It was well seasoned and nicely paired with an array of sides (kale and sweet potato) with an apple chutney on top. A very nice cut, moist and tremendously flavorful.My wife chose the trout. It too was perfectly cooked and presented beautifully. The sauce was a bit overpowering for the delicate flavor of trout, but it was a very good sauce.Dessert was flourless chocolate cake (so rich and tasty) and a banana's fosters (super moist and excellent texture).The food was great, the place was well put together. We will eat here again.“

“Great bar. 3 pool tables, big air hockey table, arcade games, lots of seating and tables, good bar service, covered outdoor seating/smoking area, easy and close parking. Plenty of food near by. I'd say it's a younger crowd typically.“

“The service and food were both excellent this evening! I was especially looking forward to a good ribeye steak, unfortunately due to a shipment mixup there were no ribeye. However, they upgraded my dinner to a mouth-watering filet at no charge. Needless to say, I was not disappointed! We also got the rack of lamb and the table-side ceaser salad. Everything was excellent, and I can't wait to come here again!“

“This bar is great. My husband and I are new to the area. Last time we came we had went to the liquor store next door. And the worker had told me not to try this bar out because it’s ghetto. So when we made it official to move to Humboldt County we went to this bar. And oh boy was the worker next door wrong. I don’t know what he considers ghetto, but this bar is definitely not ghetto!“
