Great dive bar in Arcata Square. The best by far. Robert, the manager and bartender is attentive and makes excellent drinks. Prices are very reasonable.

I’m shocked to see so many good reviews. The price of the drinks was okay but the drinks did not taste good. We thought the jukebox was super cool but the bartender was not. I paid for 5 songs and he only let 3 of them play and lowered the volume super low after the first song in Spanish. It was a really weird experience.

Came here a couple years ago on a road trip from Southern CA. Absolutely great lil' local dive bar. Perfect mix of punk and rural vibes.

Same as it was the last time I was here, over ten years ago. Literally nothing has changed aesthetically or patronage wise. It’s a down home locals bar. The bartender, a blonde gal, I didn’t get her name; is really sweet and attentive. Rad place. Nostalgia.

Amazing prices! Good vibes and entertaining people. I'm not a bar guy, but this one was nice and seemed comfortable. There is an outdoor spot in the back where you can smoke, which makes the bar even better. When I went, I had a simi-slow service, but the drink was strong and tasty, so it was worth the wait. You'll forget you waited but not admissible.Parking: In Arcata Square, there is more than enough parking!Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs, ramps in the back. More than enough room and people are friendly so don't worry about taking up room. People will move, and some will help where they can. Sweet, kinds folks.
Excellent dive bar. Like perfect. Great bartender…clientele was cool and chill. Actually MUSIC playing on the jukebox instead of angry millennial b.s. Recommend highly.

I would have my freaking baby here if I could. LOVE the private ladies room so great for powdering your nose and having a laugh. Best Shirley temples in town. What more do you need? All the drama and all the fun. Everyone we know is there. We have so much fun when we go there after the goat. HAHAHA.

Cash only, dive bar factor is about 9.89 out of 10 ... in a good way.

I recently had the displeasure of visiting Everett's in Arcata, CA and was extremely disappointed by the rude bartender who served me. Not only was he pretentious and condescending, but he seemed to go out of his way to make it difficult for me to find a good drink. From the moment I walked up to the bar, the bartender's demeanor was unpleasant and not very nice. He didn't bother to greet me or make any recommendations when I asked for a drink suggestion. When I requested a specific type of cocktail, he scoffed and rolled his eyes as if I was an inconvenience to him.It was clear that he didn't care about his guests' experience or satisfaction, and was more interested in flaunting his knowledge of mixology. Despite my attempts to engage him in conversation and find a drink I would enjoy, he remained aloof and uninterested.I found this behavior unacceptable and unprofessional. As someone who works in the service industry, I understand the importance of providing a positive experience for guests, but this bartender clearly did not share that sentiment.I would not recommend visiting Everett's while this rude and unhelpful bartender is still employed there. Save yourself the trouble and find a different establishment where you can enjoy a drink without being subjected to such unpleasant treatment.
