This hide gem is a perfect taqueria. They have indoor sitting. They are one of the better places to get Mexican style food in arcata. Fresh ingredients and the salsa is house made which is as a plus super tasty! Staff is friendly and quick service. 100% worth trying! Beers are cheap however they have a small selection!
For what it is Hey Juan’s is the best place to eat at on planet earth. It may not be the most authentic mexican cuisine in town but get a fish burrito and try to tell me u didn’t cream ur jeans on the first bite. They do need to bring back the “Seahog”
I stopped by for lunch during a trip to Arcata and had the deluxe vegan burrito, it’s been a long time since I had a good burrito. They did not disappoint. They have tapatío handy if you need more chile/spiciness. Made me miss California even more
