Love Northtown Coffee and love that is only a block away from my place ☕ The staff are very friendly and hospitable and amazing vibes. Their vegan options are so delicious 😋 The variety of entertainment from open mic, punk shows, art day, pop up dinning and my favorite Jazz Jam on Sundays is awesome. This is why I love Northtown Coffee, my other home.

We absolutely adored Northtown Coffee as we passed through town! Teagan was the sweetest barista that made the most killer coffee and gave great recommendations for our trip!! The atmosphere was impeccable and if we lived in the area, we'd be regulars!! Loved the creative flavor combinations and our coffees really made the road trip sweet!

Popped in before heading further north, super convenient and tasty home brews! Cozy couches and chairs and tables on the inside with outside patio as well. Drive right back on the highway when done! Recommended from a CalPoly Student and I’d recommend too!

The caramel latte here strikes the perfect balance, rich but not overly sweet. After just three visits, the staff already knew my usual order. My only complaint? I wish they stayed open a little late at night too.

Stopped in here a few times during a trip to Arcata. The people working here are so genuinely kind and sweet. If you’re interested in unique latte recipes I highly recommend ordering from their specials menu. I tried the cardamom rose latte and then the Ray of Sunshine latte (within golden milk and bee pollen), both tasted incredible with well balanced flavor profiles. This place is a must visit for me no whenever I come to Arcata. Thank you for the lovely coffee and experience 😊🩵

I choose to go to this spot because they serve 20 oz red eyes with four shots. I get burnt out by caffeine-sensitive baristas who make comments about red eyes and inadvertently flash implicit bias and character judgements on people for having a high caffeine tolerance. I go to school and work, and I don’t want to feel like a drug addict every time I order something off your menu.
I went in today for a red eye and one of the baristas was confused and concerned about other staff historically making the normal four shot 20 oz red eyes, thinking that 2 shots was more than enough. There are plenty of drinks on the menu for caffeine sensitive people, please for the love of god leave red eyes alone and keep them at 4 shots. If I have to pay extra to add 2 shots to a 20 oz red eye just to reach the normal 4 I’ll just go to Dutch Bro’s exclusively. I like north town coffee, there are a lot of awesome things about this place, but I also don’t want to pay +$7 for a drink that should have the same kick as a $4 drink, and as I mentioned above I don’t want to feel like a drug addict by the staff every time I order something off your menu.
