Horrendous service. We were handed two menus without a word. Ok, we’ll seat ourselves, I guess. Waitress was bothersome and seemed bothered. The food was even worse. No flavor, watery sauce and dry meat. Spring rolls are no good, either. I will not be returning.

For me my goto Arcata dinner restaurant. Reliably good and tasty food. I like the family style sitting. It's not fancy but the staff are friendly enough, its reasonably priced, your food comes fast, and is flavorful.

From a 5 star to a 2 star. What a shame. This review hurts me so much, for I have always cherries Pho Hoang. I am not sure what has happened exactly, but the staff has changed and with this change the vibe, food quality and prices have all gone for the worse. Everything I so loved from Pho Hoang has now flipped. No longer are there reasonable prices for quality of food. Good bye to welcoming and friendly staff; hello rude staff acting like customers are cattle. It used to feel cozy and respectful even when completely packed, and now it's hard to even stand to pay they have packed in so many tables it's awkward and the new decor feels more clinical.

First of all my daughter was eating her pho soup. She took a bite and there was a small sharp piece of plastic in her soup. She could have swallowed it and really hurt herself second I spent $80 and it was to go and I asked for a small thing if chilli oil and they charged me a extra $1.50 even though when you eat in the restaurant the chilli oil is free sitting on the table this is not okay there should never be a sharp piece of plastic in food. We eat here all the time and I'm not one to complain but this is not okay
