The pie could have been way better. Tasted like store bought crust and whipped cream. Don’t call yourself a pie shop if you aren’t going to specialize in it. However, the staff was super friendly!

I have been meaning to try this place out for awhile, and I really wish I had made it here sooner.The pie was every bit as good as I had heard and despite being pretty crowded the atmosphere was pleasant and comfortable.An excellent addition to the Arcata scene.
The food at this restaurant tastes so good. We decided to go veggie during our dinner and ordered the veggie pot pie, veggie pizza, veggie teriyaki, and the mushroom and kale hand pies. All of the flavors were delicious. It made me almost want to drive back and get more. Too bad they are closed Sunday and Monday. I guess I'll have to wait until the next time I pass by this town.

Stopped by for some pie during a trip to Arcata and had a great time! We were able to sit outside which was a plus because we were avoiding indoor dining at the end of December to avoid COVID exposure. They had a lot of covered outdoor seating to keep us warm and dry. We decided to share the veggie pot pie and the spinach and ricotta hand pie, both of which were flaky, flavorful, and delicious. We were surprised that they gave them to us warm immediately, because the display case is also a warmer so they didn't even need to heat them up for us. We also got some cider from The Local, which shares the space with them! We took our dessert slice to go, and even though I'm not a huge cream pie fan, I really needed to try the eggnog pie. It was absolutely amazing, not too sweet, a soft but still firm enough consistency, and tasted exactly like some quality eggnog. I would absolutely come back here for any sweet & savory pie!
Delicious savory and sweet pies in a trendy college town. The savory pies are the standouts for me, mostly because that's a harder thing to find in real life. Sweet pies are everywhere, and these are very good (if a bit pricy). It's counter service, and the pie shop shares space with a couple other spots (notably a bar). But it's really good, enjoyable, and worth a stop.

Absolutely delicious and we will be coming back! We had the pulled pork, pesto chicken, and vegetable curry hand pies, the chicken pot pie, and the chilled peanut butter pie - oh my taste buds were in heaven! The prices were quite a bargain, too. The only downside is we went on a Saturday and then were hooked but couldn't grab anymore pies on Sunday or Monday! Bummer! We even went to local grocery stores to see if they stocked their pie.

Ummm late night pie in combo with a bar atmosphere? Count us in each time we visit our daughter at college! Pie was amazing to boot! Everyone who visits has to stop here. Amazing!

This restaurant is a local treasure! It's a bit on the pricey side but, rest assured, the ingredients are locally sourced, and all homemade from scratch. If you get a longing for a delicious slice of sweet pie, their raspberry lemon is out of this world. Their savory pies are a delight. I would suggest trying all of the selections in the hand pie category so you can choose which full-size pie you can buy next time.we like to buy a pie to take home and put in the oven for later. Never disappoints, I highly recommend!
