Got the tofu teriyaki and it was just tofu along side white rice. Not much sauce at all and no vegetables or anything else. Veggie sushi was ok but a little skimpy on the ingredients not much flavor, and there was no wasabi or soy sauce (to go order). They have a vegan option for miso soup, which was not the greatest or the worst. Got the vegetable gyoza. Was soggy and burnt at the same time. All this said, it was still edible and not the worst. Grateful to eat and have vegan options.

Great sake selection. Love that the agedashi tofu can be made vegan/vegetarian. It was delicious. Also, everyone was so friendly and attentive. It was a pleasure dining here.

Quaint sushi spot with plenty of seating options and nice music. A great menu with lots of options. Most important for us, a real kids menu with real sushi and mini-bento boxes! The kids were ecstatic. Once we got the food, everyone agreed it was some of the freshest we've had. The local rolls were amazing, the crew couldn't decide which they liked the best. My tofu was hot and perfect consistency. All the staff was pleasant and eager to please! Great experience all around.

Tomo was close to closing, so we chose the Sushi Spot as a fill in. And it performed admirably. The wait time for a table was very manageable and the staff was friendly and accommodating.
I will note the restaurant puts a mandatory gratuity on orders, which I did not notice on the menu. The staff was great, so I don’t have any problem with the tip amount. And they didn’t leave a line for a tip to trick customers into tipping again. But why not just state a percent of your sales go directly toward staff and just list the prices as that?
The food was a mixed bag. The rainbow roll was just okay, which isn’t the best when sushi is in your name.
The tempura was very large, which I guess justifies the price. But tempura should be an appetizer and this was enough for a whole meal or an app for 6-8 people. Since we were a smaller table, this was just too much. There was a good selection of items in the tempura including asparagus that belongs and bell pepper that did not, based on flavor.
The curry was very good. Big portion, good flavor, a little heat, and a nice variety of vegetables mixed in.
Overall, this would have been higher if I didn’t know a better sushi restaurant was 100 feet away.
Our server Sierra was just gorgeous, just the best, only topped by the food! The Iron Lion, the Vegas, and the kaarage was delicious, some of the best sushi around. Will definitely be back

Sushi is great, they have great specials available. It is a chain and many in Humboldt county don't like that but I think it is just as good if not better than local restaurants. The kani crunch is my favorite roll!

I don’t hardly ever leave reviews, but the service here was so bad, food was great I mean I have had better sushi other places but for what it was it was great sushi. The service sucked from the moment we walked in the door, the waitress was obviously frustrated with the other staff who forgot our beverages, the chefs in the back lost our order. Which I get this stuff happens, but there was nothing made right on the bill no discount of any kind and there was also an automatic gratuity on our bill which makes me think our experience was a regular one. This was our last night in town we chose this place based on reviews so I wanted to leave mine. For the price 10 for 10 not worth it.

I ordered 3 Klamath rolls and 3 California rolls. My California rolls came with 2-6 pieces and one only had 5 pieces? How does that add up? As well as getting charged 10% gratitude automatically. I tip based on service! I have been coming here over 20 years. Sadly this will be my last visit to this restaurant.
