Seriously excellent Chinese place, definitely not something I was expecting to find in Humboldt county when I moved up here.
Of all the dishes here I've tried, the mapo tofu is the standout by far. It's super delicious and uses real Szechuan peppercorns, so it's a unique culinary experience for sure. The twice cooked pork is also awesome.
Servers have always been friendly, and the food arrives REALLY fast after you order it. I've never had to wait more than 5-10 mins. The interior is nice, with walled booths that offer lots of privacy, dim lighting, and fun decorations. I often find myself going back here to treat myself to a tasty lunch or dinner.

It was excellent as always! This time I went for the fried beef and it was good also. I love the cashew dishes. And I generally go there for lunch and it was very reasonable 😁

Initially I was excited. The hot and sour soup on the menu just has veggies and tofu as ingredients. I asked the server, who looked like a manager or owner, if I can get it without the egg. I confirmed multiple times it was vegetarian. She said yes. I got the big bowl of soup and ate a lot of it, then realized I had bit into a giant chunk of chicken. I spit it out, it was clearly chicken. They apologized profousely and I asked if I could just get my money back and they said no we can remake it. Honestly I am not going to eat that. I havent eaten meat since 2005 and I know its a preference and not an allergy thing, but how did chicken accidently end up in there? Thats sketchy. Is there cross contamination? I dont trust it. I think its not safe for people who dont eat meat and also in general because what kind of oversight or lack of sanitation or cleanliness that you can get a huge chunk of chicken accidently in a soup that has no meat.

Nice building, friendly people, good food. We came in for the first time for the year of the snake lunch. We had the eggplant and chow fun. We will come back. Asked for spicy and it was 🔥. Get the mustard if you need your sinuses drained.

Cumin Lamb — great flavor, tender lamb Dry Sauted Eggplant — super delicious! Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with the numbing spicy of Sichuan peppercorns. Beef Chow Fun — good
The wait for takeout was very long but the food was worth it.

Chicken was so overcooked it tasted like jerky they will give excuses that it’s cooked twice and that’s why no chicken should taste like jerky said he would comp dident eat any of it and only took 20 percent off this is the secound time this place served overcooked food last time I will be going there would not recommend

Ordered food on line.Received Wrong order brought back and they said I owed $7.00 more,was not happy.Paid them even though I was out time and gas . Did they get my order right the second time? No! Called to tell them they owed me $11.50 for my fried,Rice they shortted me the second trip and they told me to eat shit . (And to think I had included a tip in my on line order☹️ )Was a long time customer - No more.
