The way I score a Mexican restaurant begins with their chips and salsa. First they offered it complimentary, always a good start. The salsas are good, especially their pico de gallo. The chips are not my favorite, they are a little gritty.
I ordered a super quesadilla burrito with birria, so I was pretty excited. It didn't end up being what I was hoping for. I didn't really notice the quesadilla part. I was hoping for a little more crunch in the tortilla and a little more flavor in the birria.
I want to go back and try something else. I like the cost and the service is good. You get a good amount of food. I think next time will be better!
I went back and got the carnitas, so much better!

There Quesabirria tacos are the best food I have ever had. 11/10. There Pico de Gallo is so flavorful and easily the best in Humboldt. My only critique for this restaurant is one of the female employees never smiles and acts rude on the phone. Overall very good.

The epitome of hit and miss. I’ve had to drive back way too many times to get my order corrected because they can’t handle one modification. I’ve had the same thing happen with DoorDash. Not worth it. The taco truck by Renner gas station is always reliable and really tasty and affordable. Prices here are kind of high. Plenty of other options.

I ordered two tacos carne asada ( meat only with limes ). When the waitress brought my food, the tacos had everything on it. When I let her know it was supposed to be me. Only she just went to the back and scraped off the sauce and then brought it back. The rice and beans were great. But the service is horrible.

They have the best food. Everyone there is amazing and friendly.
Kid-friendliness: Everyone there loves kids they welcome kids with a welcoming smile. They like to play peekaboo with my baby when we come in and she has a blast everytime service is great there everyone is so incredibly nice and they treat everyone like family.
Wheelchair accessibility: They have easy moving tables and chairs there and plenty of space to adjust for wheelchair access.

Great local eatery that was a welcome change while traveling. The chili relleno was delicious. The fresh flour Tortillas were soft and yummy too. Small place and everything made fresh so have patience and relax.

Ordered a Chimichanga with hamberger. It came with shreaded beef. The cook said there was no hamburger. Ordered a barrito with shreaded beef, the meat was cold. Ordered shreaded chicken nachos, the chicken was in 1 to 2 inch chunks. They said that was shreaded. The refried beans were bland and tasted like they were out of a can. Ordered a Strawberry margarita and after food was brought I had to remind them to bring it. After we were done eating they brought the margarita and said sorry they forgot again. The margarita was salty and it was really bad and it was like a salty slushy sold at a fair. They brought water, but never came back to refil the water. Sorry, won't be back.
As a reply to their reply, we asked for hamburger ( ground beef) the waiter said not a problem, we asked for shreaded chicken, we got chunky chicken, my wife sowed the waiter lady that this was chunky chicken and asked if this was shreaded chicken. She looked at it and said it was shreaded chicken. There was no dinner rush and there were multiple empty tables. We took the food because after paying about $80 I was not going to leave it on the table to be tossed. Mabey this was an off day for you guys. Best of luck.

Living in Sacramento this is some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever eaten. The tacos were excellent soft tacos, and crispy. The burrito was huge and the nachos were filled with meat. The service was top-notch. Served with chips and salsa aplenty and constant refills on drinks. Choice of three salsas, I went with green, salsa was fantastic. If I lived here, this would be my go to place. a great selection of sodas
