Note: This is coming from someone who lived in the Tea Garden Suites (located in the very back of the complex) and not the Apartments proper that face F Street and/or 11th/12th Avenue(s)That said, DO NOT MOVE HERE IF YOU OR SOMEONE YOU KNOW SUFFERS FROM SEASONAL DEPRESSION! My experience living here was extremely dismal, to say the very least. There is no natural light throughout the entirety of the Suites building, as the building next to F Street, there is constant noise from the freeway right next to the building, and the living rooms are bland as all hell and look like a liminal space. If I were to mention one good aspect, it's that it's within walking distance from the Arcata Plaza and Wildberries, which is convenient for those who want to walk/bike to get groceries or whatever. This might not apply to some, as I lived on the bottom floor of the Suites, but if you so desire to move here, do yourself a favor and buy a plant or decorate the living room.Oh, and good luck trying to get yourself some sleep, because there's a building down the street that blares a bunch of bird noises on loudspeakers 24/7.
Safe, secure, alot of people know one another, and the rooms are fair priced and with in walking distance campus. I dont have any complaints at all.
When I moved in the apartment I was assigned it was completely disgusting and not cleaned- like it should have been per the contract when I moved in.
