Whenever I come back to Humboldt, Tomo is always on the list for dinner. The food is consistently fresh and delicious. Reasonably priced and a comfortable experience for a relaxing dinner.

We've loved Tomo for nearly 30 years. The veggie sushi options are always great, with the inside out roll with tempura yam our favorite. The Humboldt Hunny is also excellent, as is the Buddha Belly. The salad is always a work of art, fresh and tasty with a bit of both house dressings. (I ask for them on the side.) We've never had a problem here and invariably leave feeling happy and nourished on all levels by this longtime local favorite.

Easy to get a table in a Friday night at 730p in front of the lovely aquarium. Staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient. Enjoyed our food and the watermelon margarita.

I went to this restaurant on a solo vacation trip, and had an absolute amazing time. The drinks were amazing, the service was top notch, and the food was Fantastic. They had the best Miso Soup I have ever had at any restaurant ever, and I had asked for a second bowl, praising it. The owner came by and gave me a third bowl of Miso Soup on the house, saying that was the best compliment they've gotten on it. At the end, I had eaten so much I couldn't finish my entree and had to take it to go. I loved my experience so much I had to buy a shirt, and spoke to the owner for a while about my trip. Overall, I had the best eating experience during my trip at this restaurant, and look forward to coming back again at some point in the future 😁

I'll start out with saying the food was good. We all ordered cocktails but only two people at the table liked theirs. I dont know if the place was short handed but the service was very slow.
I asked for a diet coke that I never received. I also asked for a fork 3 times and never received it. I think that's a little ridiculous.

Look through the menu carefully, it's not well marked but there are tasty vegan rolls and options hiding all over!

Food is decent. But the price for some of the dishes is outrageous. I’m glad we ended up sharing instead of ordering things for ourselves to save some money. The place is nice and the staff is lovely but I’m not sure I can justify these prices for food taste that doesn’t match. Presentation is great!
