Awesome tortas, I'm a chilango and these tortas are legit. I came with a party of three and we ordered different tortas. My favorite was the torta chilanga. The order took a few minutes but everything came out fresh. The ingredients looked high quality. These tortas also have the good cheese (quesillo or queso Oaxaca) so that's a plus. The gentleman who took out orders did a great job of walking us through the different menu items and told us which were the most popular. I did ask for a more custom torta and he basically said, no problem we can do that. Aguas were good too. I live in scv but I will be coming out here to get these tasty tortas.

Very friendly service. Met the owner who explained the menu. Passionate guy who clearly has great pride in his business, as he should. The Torta was excellent. It had a lot of components and each of them was individually properly seasoned. For me, the standouts were 1) the Bread! It was exactly the right thickness; way too many tortas get the bread to filling ratio. 2) the Beef Milanesa, I mean wow best I have ever had, tight texture, right saltiness. Definitely give this place a try, you will end up wanting to come right back.

God bless! It's been a long time since I have had a good, proper torta, and Tortas Chuy Jr did not disappoint. So, they offer a good selection of tortas, many with pork, chorizo and of course asada. Their telera rolls are fresh baked daily and the ingredients are fresh as well. Portions are generous as you can see from the pictures. Everything is customizable as I discovered when ordering online (nice touch!). Burritos and tacos are on the menu too. I will absolutely be ordering from here again...next time, hopefully in person.
Vegetarian options: You could in theory make a veggie torta here, but not really conducive to vegetarian needs.

Finally made the trip with my son after spending the night before drooling over theirInstagram posts. My son had La Encajosa and I had La Mamalona. I almost asked for mine with no pineapple because it just seemed weird but OMG Im so glad I didnt. It was so good!!! Perfectly savory torta with just a hint of sweetness which sounds strange but works so well. Did I mention the size of this torta was huge!? The gentleman who took our order was very friendly Definitely coming back. Wishing Tortas Chuy Jr much success! (My picture doesn't do this yummy torta any justice)

My friend, visiting from out of town, and I stumbled upon Tortas Chuy Jr today, and it was delicious.The bread here is what dreams are made of—soft, warm, and utterly delightful. Unlike other places where the bread tends to be stale and hard, Tortas Chuy Jr's bread was a game-changer.I opted for the ham torta, generously layered with cheese, avocados, and jalapenos. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and the combination was simply perfect. Meanwhile, my friend went for the milanesa torta with pineapple and chipotle sauce, and they were equally thrilled with their choice.Yes, they do accept credit cards, which is always a plus.Overall, Tortas Chuy Jr has won me over, and I'm already planning my next visit.
