This place is very soulful. The food is also delicious. Wish we had more room to try some other items. We still had tater tots, deviled eggs, scrambled eggs with country potatoes and fried green ta'mators. Highly recommend. Sarah and Connor were very welcoming and polite. Overall 5 star rating for this place.

I am not a man given to gushing, but good lord above the Jambalaya here is something you need to try before you die. I make my own jambalaya at home. I own multiple forms of file powder. I was in the area on what is likely my last trip as we are selling our family cabin, but I would and will make the seven hour trip again over that dish and the excellent service and atmosphere. The owner told me she'd never seen one person consume an entire bowl of her jambalaya alone.I would've done seconds and dealt with the consequences. 10/10.

This joint has great potential. We noticed a new place has opened in Arnold !!!@@&$$!!! So glad!! We dropped in for lunch and they were sold out of the fried chicken and tatter tots, it must have been really good. We split the shrimp Po-boy with fries and beignets with chocolate and fresh woop cream. Both dishes were excellent. The Big East's got nothing on this meal. We look forward coming back for breakfast AND the lunch with the fried chicken and tots

Went in and had a Dungeness crab po-boy today and it was absolutely amazing! Sandwich was massive and enough for lunch and dinner. The crabcakes inside the sandwich were top notch.

I have been to Heart and Soul many times, because I love their food. However, today's experience was terrible. I arrived to find music blaring uncomfortably loud. i couldn't hear my friend talk. I asked nicely if they could turn the music down. I asked again. I asked a third time and got a ration of attitude from the server. Finally she turned down the volume a bit. Sadly, I'm not sure I'll ever go back.

Did take away shroom burger and fries. Really nice and accommodating staff. They don’t have a kids menu but can make changes to the current menu. Highly recommend!!
