Great, fresh, really tasty Greek food. Worth stopping on our way to Bear Valley. Higher end, so a bit pricier, but we thought it was worth it.

We tried this new restaurant last night, it was so delicious. The place is so cute, I can't wait until the spring for outdoor seating. The owner was serving us, she is so sweet and attentive. All meals include soup or salad, I had the salad so fresh, my husband had the soup he said it had great flavor. The chicken penne pasta was so full of flavor, and my husband's lamb chops were very tender. Large portions of food. So many items I plan on going back to try. I'm so excited to have a great restaurant in Arnold. The sandwiches for lunch also look amazing. Forgot to mention the wine selection, great choices, they had me at Rombauer!

Overpriced, food is mediocre, portions are tiny. Prices are very high! Pita $20, steak $55! It is a road cafe, not a fancy restaurant.

This place is a standout in Arnold. Nice ambiance, great service and the food . We started with the flaming cheese and pita bread, then the lemon chicken soup, I had the Gyros Plate (meat so tender you can use a butter knife) and my grandson had the Mediterranean Chicken...we ate every bite. We'll definitely will be back!

We had a wonderful dinner and the service was great! Delish moussaka and gyros. Lovely wine and the ambiance was very enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Great refresh on the formerly Dogwood restaurant space. A variety of basic ($$) and fancy($$$$) Mediterranean cuisine. Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had the fresh house made hummus. Which was very flavorful and came with a nice warm stack of pita bread. My main was the mousalaka which was strongly and authentically spiced, and comforting like shepherds pie. I was happy to see they have some affordable lunch options along with the upscale dishes that are on the $$$ side. I look forward to coming back for a nice fancy dinner. They have the ability to do many dishes gluten free for those with gluten sensitivity. It would be nice to see the interior space spruce up more.Dietary restrictions: Ask them about gluten free modifications, they sounded really accommodating.

Split a Greek salad with steak and the chicken skewers. Both were fresh and delicious. Make reservations! We got lucky without one on a Saturday night but as word of mouth spreads, I anticipate long wait times without a reservation.

Truly enjoyed a very tasty dinner... in a delightful welcoming updated setting! I had the Salmon topped with a generous portion of crusted Pistachios, truly delicious. The Greek Salad was crisp and cold with a flavorful house made dressing. My husband enjoyed the Gyros Plate. AND a great way to start the meal... order the hummus and warm pita! Can't forget to mention our friendly server Ana... we will be back.

Enjoyed the food and the good vibes! The pita was especially warm and fresh, and the mousakka was just delicious.

We rolled in on Sunday of President's Day weekend. The place was packed so we were able to get 4 spots at the counter. Our server was excellent. The next thing we knew we had a great bottle wine, soups and salads. We had the lambs chops, pork medallions, gyros plater & chicken kabob. Every one of us had a wonderful meal. My lamb was excellent with a generous portion. According to my neighbor he had the best pork he's ever eaten. Thank you for fitting us in on a busy night for great dinner !❤️

I ate here twice last week. A wonderful new addition to Arnold. The service and atmosphere is warm and inviting. I had their specialty salad for lunch and pistachio salmon for dinner. Both were reasonably priced & delicious. They also have great choices for wine. I do believe a few items on their menu ( lamb at $57 ) can feel a little overwhelming in a mountain restaurant but there are enough other options. They need to be given a chance. They seem to be very responsive owners & probably will go through several iterations. It is possible that their space rent may be too high. Really yummy food.

Good food. Good service. But pricey: $33 (including tax and tip) for 1 chicken kebab, some rice and veggies, and a small cup of soup. And that was midrange for what was on the menu. $70’for lamp chops?! Hope this place makes it. Arnold could use another dining option. Concerned the prices might be a problem…

Excellent addition to Arnold. We visited a week ago on Saturday night. We started with a bottle of Black Ridge merlot (Lodi and very nice). We had an appetizer of saganaki (flaming cheese - kasseri cheese flambeed with brandy; very dramatic but delicious, served with soft pita triangles). My husband enjoyed the gyro platter, commenting that the rice pilaf and vegetables (green beans and slivered carrots) were especially delicious. His meal was served with a cup of avgrolemono soup. My moussaka was delicious, topped with a tasty bechamel, with seasoned ground beef and served with yummy sauteed vegetables. We were too full for desserts but they looked delectable. Hopefully they will add pastitsio to their menu one day soon. Nonetheless, we will be back.
