The espresso is really good. If youre not keen to espressos but you really want to, ordering a flat white is the best alternative. In my opinion at least.

I'm in AG often and this is my favorite shop in the area. They use Stereoscope beans which are incredible. My go-to is a short iced americano. Staff is always so nice.

The coffee here is LEGIT, for a TRUE craft coffee connoisseur. The ambiance is wonderful coffee ambiance for anyone looking to concentrate, study or catch up with a friend. Plenty of seating and it's spaced out. The service is just fine :) I'm from Los Angeles. I travel through on the 101 on my way to Monterey, a few times a year. I stay over in SLO or Pismo Beach & I'm always on the hunt for true good coffee at every city between home and my destination. Coffee beans are everything, besides what you do with them, for my drink. It's very difficult to gauge coffee spots on Yelp as you leave SoCal, because they're usually overly positive and the reviewers vary in what they like out of a coffee shop. But I finally found a winner & a keeper in Banner Coffee! Like I said, the coffee is legitimate in roast, flavor, and execution. Nothing gimmicky here, just serious true coffee. This is my top pic in this whole area. I'm so glad I gave it a shot. As a true coffee connoisseur - I recommend :)
Friendly service (which is rare these days) and nice clean place. I feel like the interior design could use a bit more oomph, but I like going here. Just wish parking were better, but it's not their fault.

Tried the cardamom capp with half and half, less sweet. The barista was friendly and accommodating. She made a beautiful design too that I didn't get to photograph as I was too eager to try this new flavor! Perfect flavor and sweetness level. Many cafes go overboard with sweet and overpower the light flavor profiles of the coffee and specialty flavors. This capp was well balanced and temp was perfect to enjoy right away. The cafe is spacious and super clean. Easy to find a spot to sit and would be nice to spend some time in there in conversation with a cup of capp. We also tried an iced mocha. The flavor was light, as was the sweetness, Would get both drinks again. Great experience. Looking forward to trying other offerings:)
