Great low key place and serves ( IMO)enough food so I feel like I don't have to go home and eat more .I definitely recommend this place !
Halibut very blah. No taste. Halibut tacos blah as well. Ordered a shrimp cocktail for appetizers for 4 people. What a joke. Four blah shrimp on a plate with a SMALL little paper cup of cocktail sauce.ššWill never go back.
Thank you Blue Fin for serving up deliciousness!!! You all are Top Shelf!
Ordered the Fish and Chips, and Melted Shrimp Tacos. Also a Dr. Pepper and some kind of beer. The Fish and Chips were alright. Fish tasted quite good, typical Cod taste. The batter was not the best, and there was a little too much of it. Plenty of fries come with the fish, though I didn't find them very appealing.
Melted Shrimp Tacos were decent, nothing extraordinary about them. Surprisingly filling.
Price versus the amount of food you get doesn't really carry over the best for this particular combination of food. It was something like $63 for the dishes and drinks. Probably about what you'd expect in this part of the Central Coast, but there are places nearby that have similar dishes for smaller prices.
I'd probably get one of the seafood boils or sheets next time.
The food was excellent. I would definitely go back.
We came here the Friday before Easter, and wowāit was chaos (through no fault of theirs). We called ahead and were quoted a 45-minute wait, but by the time we arrived around 6:30 PM, the place was packed. A power outage in downtown Pismo had rerouted the hungry masses to nearby restaurants, and this spot got hit hard.
We ended up waiting nearly two hours to be seated. Iām not docking points for that because the situation was out of their controlābut the host staff kept saying ā20 more minutesā multiple times when it clearly wasnāt true, which made it feel more frustrating. There were quite a few open tables on the patio, too, so Iām guessing the staff just wasnāt prepared for that level of crowd. Totally understandable⦠but still, rough.
Once we were seated, the food came out surprisingly fastāand it was delicious. Iām a fry fanatic, and theirs were fresh, crispy perfection. I tried the ādirty fries,ā but probably wouldnāt get them that way againānot enough garlic punch for all those visible garlic bits. The fried spicy shrimp? Massive, lightly breaded, and so good. But the real winner? The shrimp ceviche. It was more raw than Iām used to, but hands down the best-tasting ceviche Iāve ever had. Super fresh with an amazing balance of flavors.
I wanted dessert, but by then it was already after 9 PM and we were toast.
The inside of the restaurant is small and cozy, while the patio is a little roomier and beautifully decorated. Iād absolutely come backāpreferably not during a holiday weekend apocalypseāto try more of the menu.
I HIGHLY recommend this spot! I ordered the jumbo crab cakes and the halibut tacos, delicious!! My husband ordered the Cajun seafood boil, excellent as well! And the best part was the great service! Thank you, Joel!!

La comida es demasiada deliciosa te atienden muy bien š todo muy limpio y muy amables
This restaurant has excellent food. It has better food than some of the more higher priced restaurants in the area. The food is always fresh. They have the best house dressing. Iāve tasted in a long time. Fresh seafood always done well .Service was a little slow due to the fact that they did not have enough servers hard to get good people to work anymore.
