This place just warms my soul! Feels like the last vestige of a strong community based country. I love the wonderful diverse regulars, the insanely gifted smart and hardworking staff, and being in a historic building that used to be a hotel. Cafes used to be the absolute pulse of a culture and community, and even in this modern era, this establishment has somehow maintained that crucial ideal.
Modern cute place. Staff were nice and outside patio atmosphere was great. We sat there cause we had our pup with us. People in town are friendly enough. The food was bland. We got the breakfast burrito and it needed more sausage and some salt. The pumpkin loaf was good but needed chocolate chips or nuts to make it great. Coffee was just ok. We got 2 of the holiday drinks - 1 no mods and 2nd half sweetener but then it didnt taste like anything. The other one ended up being too...
I love this place. It is unique and represents the real feeling of a local coffeehouse. Great coffee and food. You will not be disappointed with the sophistication of coffee in a small town.
